Review of chapter "A Meeting" from Gideon
Review:
Grandmother Pain is a cool name, I hope Buffy doesn't have to fight her. At least Natasha seems able to look after herself, she will need that if she hangs around with Buffy. I hope Buffy's hair grows back, she must look really strange with no hair.

Continuing to enjoy this story.

Baba Yaga, huh? Wonder if she brought Buffy over specifically to fix/fight a situation??

I read the first chapter of red star on my phone - that was enough to suck me into your story. I'm enjoying this.

Review of chapter "A Meeting" from Iceflame
Review:
I wouldn't be surprised if Baba Yaga might not have heard news from Buffy's world >:). Wonder how having a Slayer that's damn near Living Legend status will change things? Her host certainly will understand having Baba Yaga specifically seeking you indicates great and terrible things >:).
Comments from author:
And the fact that Baba Yaga's name is the same on both worlds...?

Review of chapter "Learning" from Gideon
Review:
Good to see Buffy is healing well and is learning more about her new world. She doesn't seem to be wondering too much about what happened back in Sunnydale but I guess she counts what happened to Spike as a win and most of her close friends were above in the school so she should consider them safe. I would be careful about using too much mangling of the English language though. Buffy had grown out of at least a part of that by season 7. Maybe use more non-standard sentence construction and less mangling of actual words. I would expect Buffy to be trying pretty hard to make it as easy as possible for Natasha to talk to her. I can see she is trying to be a good guest though, what with the cleaning and all.

Review of chapter "Learning" from PATM
Review:
Fascinating rebirth story. Buffy doesn't reach the bus and is changed to fit her new environment. The description of her injuries is riveting, skulls and eye sockets! This hermit/warrior and post war true believer of get the job done is a great caretaker for Buffy to meet. Burned body steaming in the show. Wow!

Definitely a 'different' crossover. I like it. Now that Buffy is nearly recovered, hopefully they'll get a reason to leave the cabin & go out into the world...

Review of chapter "History" from Eureka
Review:
Good chapter. Never read Red Star. So Natasha is going to sew Buffy clothes and boots....is Buffy going to get Natasha to realize that she is not bad for having lived?

Review of chapter "History" from Gideon
Review:
I don't know the crossover but I am used to that :) It looks great though, and I am glad Natasha at least thinks in English. If Buffy can learn enough Russian to understand she can do Natasha's trick and just point to things at the town. That should at least get her started and she can keep practicing her spoken russian. The black eye will be hard to hide though, unless it keeps healing back to normal over time.
Comments from author:
Yeah, this story is in third person from Natasha's frame of reference. I do speak Russian (albeit horribly) and I could have written her thoughts in language...however I felt it might be easier for the reader if I translated it :)

Review of chapter "History" from NeverTooOld
Review:
Okay, once again you have produced a unique cross-over. I had never heard of Red Star until I read the first chapter of this story, but I managed to find a couple of issues to read. I think this is going to be one of your best stories, simply because of how rich and deep the source is.

Using the battle against the First in the Hellmouth as a jumping off point works perfectly. Spike's sacrifice being compared to the transformation protocol works perfectly. Buffy's innate toughness helped by the first aid protocols also blends together very well.

Anyways, I am looking forward to reading the rest of your story as well as more of Red Star.

So... a 'spirit eye'. That sounds really useful. Hm, at first I thought it might be after "The Gift", but this makes more sense. And nobody's going to try to resurrect her & will figure she died. Maybe Spike will re-solidify at some point? She must be there for a reason of some sort. Ok, shirt, pants, next some affordable yet stylish boots. She's all set!
