I had actually been thinking of Xander Harris tied/bonded/as the Spectre, DC Comics's Spirit of Vengeance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectre_%28comics%29), which this is very close to, save that the Spectre was mega-extremely powerful so the story lines were more along the whys then the hows.

I would love to see more of this. What would Xander do the so-called Powers That Be? And others out there.

That's one heckuva punishment for D'Hoffryn!

PERFECT!!!

There's no worst punishment than to occupy the head of an empty headed twit like Harmony; having to listen to her go on and on about makeup, unicorns, nail polish, who's prettier than who; the whole nine yards.

You CANNOT leave this as a one shot! It is way too good to leave that way.

How about a series of vignettes, where Xander is visiting vengeance on those who deserve it?

Like Voldemort; the Dursleys; Dumbledore; Snape; the Malfoys; Belatrix Lestrange and her husband.

The Borg.

The Daleks and Cybermen.

The Doctor doesn't need vengeance, but he does need a bit of a butt kicking.

The Romulans.

Darth Sidious.

Just about every bad guy to pop up in literature, movies, etc. for the past fifty years would do nicely.

Excellent ficlet.

Wow very nice, I could easily see this becoming a quite good and potentially very funny story or series of one shots. keep up the good work, and I hope you are inspired to tell us more stories of Xander/Raguel's adventures as the agent of divine justice.

I keep snickering.

And five hundred years later, torment finally complete, and D'Hoffryn leaps out of that shallow, fluffy, thoughtless, *sheep* of an airhead blonde, and ...
slaps her. Because there's no point in trying to rant at someone with all the depth of a spilled goblet of cheap wine.

Yet another entry into my favorites!

La la lalala lalalalalalaaaaaaa.. Curse that tune! five hundred years in Harmony's head? how the hell will D'Hoffryn be able to keep his sanity after that? I feel sorry for any fashion outlets when he gets free. I'd love to see this continued because 1) it's damn hilarious and 2) it's original.

Thanks for the laugh, I needed it.

Review:
Amazing start; and while I understand him dropping in on Buffy, what about the two 13 year olds that are blaming themselves as much - if not more - than Buffy was? Maybe you could drop in a line or two next chapter wherein he flashed into their dreams or something - also leaving them a feather as proof?

Loved the whole D'Hoffryn thing, well played!
