Another fine installment to your series, excellent writing and interesting plot lines. From your note at the end it sounds like your doing a prequel to the series, I hop your planning on continuing the series from where "Foothold" left off.

Two chronological stories are already written, plus bits of others and the one prequel.

The first prequel will be about Faith's first combat mission. The second prequel I have planned is set just before she actually enlists.

The series will continue to some sort of conclusion, I'm sorta still wondering what that conclusion will be!

Riley Doesn't believe in the missing Predator... but I bet Carter does, especially if the SGC Al'Kesh can track it. There's a possible sequel there if any one is interested.

It sounds like Faith is headed for Ranger school, followed by some college level courses. Excellent !!

If it wasn't for the fact each of your stories deals with a different crossover it'd have been interesting if instead of a Gould implantation project Keyes had been implanted by o.e if the xwnomorphs from the alien series perhaps one recovered from the bombed in the alien vs predator requiem movie. As for Wesley and Willow lying to their perspective partners that can't end well. Ah well i'll keep an eye out for the next installment.

'Aliens'; you know I've never really thought of 'Aliens' as that greater threat. However, it might be interesting as they exist in the same reality as Preds one might turn up sometime.

Bravo! I can honestly say I've loved each and every one of the stories in this series and how things evolved over time. It's been great watching Faith kick butt and take names and I look forward to reading her further adventures. I'm glad to see Wes make an appearance and that he wasn't incompetent this time around, hopefully he'll get his head screwed on straight about not lying and also see the light about Faith eventually.

I don't normally like to just leave a gushing review but I saw nothing that needed constructive crit. Well done and more please! :)

I have a spin-off story concerning Wes and Shannon panned for some time in the future (I'm about two or three stories ahead of what I've posted).

A fine end to a great story. The Predators dealt with, lots of job offers for Faith, and she still - hopefully - has Willow. It might be tricky for the latter if the truth ever comes out, but at least Faith is confident in her new persona, so it shouldn't be too much of a shock. As for Wesley? He needs a kicking. Dragging a pregnant Slayer across the country, living out of motels, all to serve his own ego. I hope the Council kick his arse in the next story. Is this the last of Keyes, or are we likely to meet him again in his Goa'uld host form?

I think you're being a little hard on Wes, but he is being a bit of a pratt so maybe you have a point.

Oh, Wesley. That lie is going to be a huge problem-the truth will come out at some point and he could lose Shannon over it. But I understand why he did it; and if they work together for a while, she might forgive it i.e. once she knows him better.
Faith working for both groups? Interesting. I really thought she'd end up in the SGC, this could be interesting as well. Meanwhile...speaking of lies, if F. ever finds out that Willow knew her from 'before' and didn't tell her plus supported Riley's lie about her background. That's even worse than what Wesley is doing, in a way.
Faith has changed so much now, I imagine her finding out the truth would be a huge shock....

Yep one of these days all the lies will come out. I'm going to have to write down who knows what about whom.

When the truth comes out its going to be like one of those Soap episodes were you get the big reveil...only with more violence.

Eventually, when Wesley tells Shannon about Faith, I think she would provide another perspective that would lead to a change in his views about Faith. Possible?
Faith is a slightly built woman. Sam hasn't noticed her carrying the heavy gun with its loaded magazine.
I'm thinking more than one room will be occupied and Faith will get her ambush cramps again. Later, Sam might think about it.

With the loose of the Preds ship, I would think that a bigger ship might be on its way from their home planet. The crashed ship might have a short range, so a mother ship is already in the solar system. I can image twenty or more Preds appearing but not attacking and Faith's comment to herself.
Do they record and transmit their kills?

Well, whether the Preds send another ship may well be dealt with in another story or maybe they just write off the ship and crew?

Faith slightly built? Hmm, I wouldn't have said so, however that shotgun must look huge in her hands.
