Excellent story. The most original premise for getting "Buffy" to the Marvel Universe. Lizzie, while not really Buffy, is so close as to be indistinguishable. She is darker than Buffy, but not that much. And both have seen the same things. Understand the same dilemmas. Know the shades of grey that make up the world.

Lizzie, as I understand it, has a piece of the Slayer still within her. That is going to have repercussions beyond the mere machinations of men (Hydra, Sheild, and whoever else is involved). Even the Tapestry of the Asgardian Gods were rewritten because of it? That makes her a player in the world, not just a pawn.

Anyway, I really enjoyed what you have written up to this point. There were a few typos, but not so many that it was distracting. I hope to be able to read more soon.

Well, I was hoping for a clean cut decision as the first two options, but a lot of people surprised me by saying go with the third. I know you might have reservations, so I will tell you that if the threesome pairing wins, that it will not by 'hey let's all get together type'. I will be bringing up how a threesome relationship is consider taboo or how it might not work and things like that to make it actually realistic for all parties invovled. Thank you!

So I was going back to the last few days of updates to see if I missed any stories I would want to read while I'm bored at work, 10 hour days when it's slow sucks, and I came across your story. It's not one of my usual stories I enjoy but I have been on an Advengers kick lately and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. This is an interesting take on the whole mental hospital thing and how being connected to a hero for 4 years while going through hell in her own world could change someone. The fact she has a broken slayer spirit as well will be interesting to see how it effects her.

I can sort of see it coming out more the angrier/more emotional she gets. -snickers- and now my muse is making me picture her talking to Dr. Banner to commiserate with him on anger issues. XD Any way back to what I was saying before my ADD kicked in...You seem to have put a lot of thought into this story and the motivation for Lizzie and her reactions that I want to know what happens next for her. I think that says how good I think this is so far, since out of 30 stories I may only read one or two Buffy centered ones. I think I'm rambling now so I'll end my review with good job, I liked it and can't wait to see more from this.

Edit: Oh and for the vote, since I was reading previous reviews. Yay for Threesome! XD maybe with Buffy and Clint getting together first and the proceeding to chase and suduce Steve together since I can see him needing some effort in working around his sensibilities. That's just my thought but anyway you write it will be fun.

I vote option 2- captain america/buffy romance. If i had found this story sooner i would have voted for tony- but the results were already in :( i like hawkbuffy friendship- it just seems right.
I'm still confused with the buffy/lizzie thing- like two different worlds blah blah blah- can you clear it up for me- because i'm confused as to what the point of that was- in an genuinely confused way of speaking- do not read any of this as from someone with a rude mouth! and i'm talking out about the words that come out of the mouth not anything else :S
Can't wait till the next chapter- tony/buffy best friends? They're are just the two top punners and wise crackers in history and it's so fun when they get to talk to each other.

Well, if you remember the Wishverse, there counter parts of everyone hence Vamp! Willow. In this world, Marvelverse, Lizzie is Buffy's couterpart. As we know Lizzie was already special, something happened and her world view shattered making her being sent to the asylum at the same time Buffy died. Their powers were broken and lost and came together which is why Lizzie was seeing Buffy's life. Hope that helps? lol

Glad to see another update! I was hoping for more. On the whole shipping front, still going with 2, Cap/Buffy. I've seen a plenty of Buffy/Hawkeye already and would love to see Cap/Buffy more often. But, really, it's your story, so just go with your gut!

How did I miss this update? How? And there was a vote? Huh, I must have missed that in the author's note. Personally, I would choose Hawkeye or Steve for buffy depending on who you want with Nat. Cause Clint and Natasha have that ambigously close relationship and canonly Nat and Steve become an item (in the rest of the marvel verse anyways, marvel movie may bow once more to fan opinion like it did Tony/Pepper). Also, Loki and Thor are still bros according to this timeline? Huh, I thought you were starting somewhere closer to the avenger's events. That both warms my heart and saddens me cause that just means misfortune is headed thier way.

I know, I wish it was more clean cut but a lot of people want either one or the threesome, so to make everyone happy it might be the threesome. But I do have a pairing for Natasha if that comes to be (private message me and I tell you). Yep, they are still brothers, this will be going (the second story in the series) into Thor then Avengers, I put into Avengers since they are all in this story in bits and pieces. Yea, it's going to be sad. :d

So glad to see a new chapter of this!

I'm hoping for Hawkeye/Buffy still, myself (mainly because he's around SHIELD at this point in the movie-'verse chronology, whereas Captain America is presumably still on ice, and I don't want Buffy to have to wait so long to get some superhero nookie).

I like this story, on the 'ship front I like clint/buffy/natasha or clint/buffy/capsicle. For all those folks who think cap is too much of a goody goody to like buffy's vengeance kick, dont forget Hydra was his first real enemy, he will either stand and watch enjoying the show (unlikely) or he is gonna start helping where he can (far more likely). That is quite true, I never thought about it like that, though I think the captain's strong moral may have a slight probably with Buffy's kill the all attitude, but I don't think he'd stop her, just be there for her.
