I think Faith can learn to apreciate Grimmes coffee making skills, and of course, his fast tipping skills xD. And boy, the cultist are in for a biiig surprise, 'cause they got Faith there, and she has a loooot of friends this time =D!. Cool chapter, see ya!!.

It's always nice to see people practicing that old time religion. And Faith being female might be crucial in stopping this, maybe? The fact the orders weren't her fault is no defense, of course. Still--instead of 'mistakes', in future maybe make it that she pissed off someone in Administration and that person keeps cutting orders that he or she hopes will get her killed? Sounds like Ithaqua or maybe Cthulhu. So, Faith has found a group of cultists worse than the usual jihadists. Only Faith could manage that. Wait. There's no mall?! What kind of inhuman conditions is the army subjecting its people to?
Comments from author:
Actually I was writing the Faith the Recruit story this morning (yes I get up a 5:30 and start writing by 6...yes I am weird) and something came to be in one of those blinding flashes of inspiration you get!
No mall, I think thats a crime against humanity!

Faith is in for a wild ride, any chance to see "Hoot" Gibson teaming up with her?. Cool chaper, see ya!.
E.T.A.: SFC Norman "Hoot" Gibson was the name of the character played by Eric Bana in the Black Hawk Down film. He was based in several real life Delta Force soldiers, I think it was to save time and concentrate more in a few characters =).
Comments from author:
Sorry, 'Hoot' Gibson?

Faith / Black Hawk Down type situation? Fun, fun. But surely a general's driver will never see any action. What could possibly go wrong? So this assignment was a bureaucratic mixup....or someone in personnel had taken a dislike to her?
Comments from author:
'bureaucratic mix-up', this is the second time I've used this plot device, its got to stop!
Indeed what could go wrong...OMG!

She's back! and fresh in the troop. From such small beginnings legends are born. Not living vicariously through reading this is difficult since I love reading about Faith's adventures in her own world.
Comments from author:
I think that's one of the nicest things anyone's said about my fics.
Are you sure you've been a woman all your life Faith, afterall you only remember the last 3 years. Maybe what ever secret experiments gave you all those abilities also changed your sex either to see if they could or to make it easier to get close to male targets? Naturally when you objected having not agreed to this they wiped your memories to avoid you causing trouble.
Seriously should be interesting to see where you go with this, it looks like another one for me to look up as Yemalia doesn't ring any bells for the crossover.
Comments from author:
Yemalia, is just a name I made up from Somalia and Yeman. As Blackhawk Down happened in the 80's I had to update things so I moved country as well.
The sex-change thing was something I'd considered but...I could see how it could work as a plot device.
This is the first of three stories that will feature in the next ten years of Faith's life.
Great start. I presume this is the prequel to all your "Faith in the Army" stories. If the crossover is with the Cthulu mythos, she's certainly in for a shock!
Thanks for writing this.
Comments from author:
Yeah, this will eventually be story number three in the series. The prequels to this prequel are either in the memory banks or being written.
Not to be recommended, start in the middle of a series and work your way outwards!
