This chapter moves things along pretty well, but ... Predator poachers ?? I'm a little skeptical about that one. The whole point of the Hunt is to gain status, and killing cows doesn't do that. I once wrote on a different forum, in a different context, "nobody hangs squirrel heads on their wall". Even "redneck" Hunters aren't going to cross the galaxy just to butcher a whole herd for fun. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be something completely different.
I look forward to finding out.
PS. the alternating POV isn't a problem at all.

Review:
He...came up with a great theory that fit the facts! Nice. So they won't follow the usual patterns of behavior, ouchie. They'll be willing to act as a group instead of that one on one stuff. On the other hand, they're facing a brassed off slayer with heavy weapons. More high tech toys for Samantha Carter to play with! Weird to think SG-1 might be going invisible in near future....
Comments from author:
There is no Stargate in this version. At least none that Buffy and company know about.

Review:
This is a splendid story, and these chapters work just fine for me. I had no difficulty with the shifting POVs: I think they work better in first person. I find shifting third-person POVs tiresome: like, Para 1, Bill thought such-and-such, then Para 2, Ben thought thus-and-so, That's so obvious and unsubtle and boring. Your approach is much subtler, and if the reader has to think a bit harder, so what? I think that that’s all to the good.
That apart, The Military Option is a consistently first-rate series, one of the comparatively few that I read immediately an episode is posted, and that is no more than the stories deserve.

Switching the POV worked for me, think I only got a little lost once, but picked up in a short amount of time. Story is good so far, never heard of this invisible man guy, but it's interesting.

This chapter would have probably worked better if you would have stuck to one viewpoint. Otherwise, interesting chapter, though I noticed neither gave away more information than necessary.

Excellent job on the point of views. Could usually get it within a sentence or two.
Like how Buffy took charge.

Review of chapter "Question Time" from DianeCastle
Review:
I thought the multiple viewpoints worked, but it was sometimes not instantly obvious who was speaking. You only had two viewpoints, so switching back and forth worked. If you had tried three, it would have been difficult to tell who was speaking.
There are ways to handle it. Some are better than others. One of the really clunky methods is starting each section with the viewpoint character's name. Another is what I use in the Phase novels: Phase always has first person viewpoint, everyone else gets third person viewpoint with their name starting the first sentence for instant identification, as in: "Darien knew he was in trouble when he realized the woman had to be three or four times stronger than he was."
Still, a fun chapter. I look forward to seeing Darien and Buffy interact. And maybe Buffy can freak out Bobby later.
