Good setup for the battle in Baghdad.
Good layout that it is a world wide war.
Interesting tidbit that Doc Strange will not be able to send X/F home after the battle...

Read a Marvel comic. Powerwise, a Slayer's nothing compared to 95% of the gods, mutants, and metas in the Marvel verse, even relative lightweights like Spiderman or Luke Cage. I could give examples, but at that point I'd just be repeating myself.

Just a thought - I don't know if you want to continue it, but Cannon-Ball was at one time considered a potential Immortal, and his powers are actually fairly impressive [on his own, he stopped Vanguard, the Superman expy]. Just for a little ace in the hole.

Otherwise, interesting story, and I am following along nicely!
