I love the Marvel universe, it's such a varied sandbox to play in cosmic, espionage, supernatural, super-heroes, just so many great chars.

If I was you, I'd try my other Marvel story 'Darker Reign', which is taken from
actual Marvel canon.

Not sure what they're going to do next. Together they're about at Power Man/Iron Fist level (on a good day) or slightly below.... I suppose they could join up with them or some other little group? Maybe hunt down vampires? Blade might accept the help. van Helsing?
Next up, any chance they have doppelgängers in this dimension? A Faith Lehane who had a good family & lives a happy respectable life?

Xander and Faith playing in the Marvel sandbox is always fun. I really enjoyed the Illuminati scene as well...haven't seen it addressed in a long time, though in Marvel canon you have to admit the boys at that table did a pretty bang up job of messing up by sending Hulk to Skaar. Still, made for an AWSOME series by Greg Pak...anyhow, looking forward to more. Hope you've still got some plans for God Wars once you're finished getting this one up over here. Great job.

Yes, both Planet Hulk and World War Hulk were great, plus Skaar is one of the few legacy characters that actually works!

Yeah, Xander can't get too caught up in the world he's in, it's a very dangerous world.

Excellent story so far. I would tone down Faith's attitude though, I mean Xander is essentially experiencing a dream come to life. While I do like Faith, it'd be pretty cool for her to see just how low on the totem pole she really is in the Marvelverse. For example, Spiderman would WASTE any slayer. Please, have Xander beg for autographs from Stephen, Reed and Xavier.

I should have explain better about Faith. To me at least, her comments didn't come off like someone who has worked with Xander for a couple of years. I just think she would have taken his reaction with a little more humor, all the while of course, totally giving him a rash of shit about it. Thanks.

I won't be toning Faith's attiude, but you are right about it, and you are right about how low
on the power totem Faith is. We'll be getting graphic evidence of this.

Well it all depends on the state of their relationship of course. In Faith Wayne, they're lovers, in this fic they're just Watcher & Slayer, so of course you have different levels of intimacy which result in different interactions, less trust etc.

Nice start. No idea of where your story is going, but so far it looks interesting. Was that The First shooting its mouth off again? If it was, I hope it doesn't have another nutty preacher in this dimension to poke Xander's other eye out.
