Review of chapter "Chapter Fourteen" from Claddagh
Review:
Great chapter. I think Steve would be a good match for her. He is someone she could spar with and not hurt, and he would understand about not not being "normal". Plus, it would drive Tony nuts! Bonus!

Thank you for another wonderful update. I love this story, and I'm always excited whenever you post a new chapter. I'm sorry to hear about your accident, and I hope you'll get better soon.

As for pairings, I'm a big fan of Buffy/Loki or Buffy/Steve, but Buffy/Clint would be good too.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope that continues.

To answer your question from forever ago, I don't have any problems with OCs per se, as long as the focus of the story remains on cannon characters. If they're patterned off Marvel characters, you could always put them in as their pre-Marvel selves (Reid Richards before he went into space, Scott Summers if he never developed the eye beams, etc.), which could be kind of awesome in its own right. It would, of course, open up problems if that character is then used in future Marvel movies, but not insurmountable ones.

I'm not sure Buffy's ready for anything romantic just now, especially as I doubt she dealt with much of the Angel stuff before all hell broke loose, so she's got that riding on her shoulders as well. I like the friendship/harmless flirtation she has going on with Declan. Sort of baby steps into the world of normal social interaction.

I'm looking forward to Willow et al's reactions to Buffy's "coming out". I hope she gets back in touch with them soon, though I'm not sure the kick in the butt she'd need to make that happen.

What's Giles up to? And what's going to happen once she starts up martial arts and dance?

Keep up the good work; I can't wait to see more!

Such an awesome story. I took the opportunity of an update after so long to read the entire thing again and it really is just a great piece of work. I can't wait to see where you go with it and I'm almost salivating over the idea of 10 stories long.

Thrilled to see that this has updated and I really enjoyed this chapter. I was also very excited to see that you have big plans for this universe :-). I can't comment on Buffy's possible future romantic entanglements, although I'm sure whatever you choose to go with you will make it work.

I really don't think you should have any romantic stuff right now.

Captain America is 27 years old when he's thawed. Considering the media attention that she's under, they would see and report pretty fast on that since she's still underage.

So glad you're doing better (well enough to post this utterly delightful and well-written chapter, at least), but so sorry to hear about your accident and your ongoing pain in recovery!

As for Buffy's romantic prospects, I love the idea of Buffy and Steve Rogers (Tony's reaction to Buffy being interested in someone just slightly younger than her GRANDFATHER Stark ought to be priceless, especially with Tony's own issues about his father seeming to think more highly of the then-presumed-dead Captain Rogers than of his own son, but for Buffy dating Captain America would be practically robbing the cradle, compared to Angel!). Or, if Steve falls through, there's always Hawkeye (good arms to have, those!), or maybe even a de-programmed Bucky Barnes someday in the distant, distant future! :)

So glad to see this one updated. I'm not a fan of the Steve idea personally, I would lean to Banner of the group especially given how she's coming along and what she's interested in, and how Stark would feel about that (He and banner may be friends, but Banner is hardly a safe choice to date). Either way it goes, I will definitely be reading. Just because I wouldn't choose Steve, doesn't mean I'm not willing to be completely won over :)

I was so happy to see this was updated! Like someone else mentioned I went back and read it all the way through from the beginning again.

I hope that you are feeling better and continue to feel better. :D

As for romance, I can get behind Steve/Buffy. Anyone else in the Avengers I think she would just be too young for. As much as I love Clint (gosh, I love arrows!) Barton he's a bit too old for Buffy. I can't see splitting apart Thor and Jane Foster, and Loki.... well... I get that Tom Hiddleston is attractive (like incredibly so) but personally I can't ship Loki with anyone. Not in any form of healthy relationship at least. If you are branching out into non-MCU characters then maybe one of the younger Xmen or Peter Parker. Johnny Storm? All the attractiveness of Steve Rogers, none of the "I was friends with your grandpa back in the 40s" weirdness!

I was so excited to see that you updates the story. I was just telling a friend about it last week when we were talking about our favorite fics. I am glad you are doing better and was very happy to learn that you are continuing the story.

Some else mentioned in the comments that they thought Buffy was too young to be seen as a dating possibility for Steve but considering your still only a part of the way through Iron Man 1 and it will be another year or two till Iron Man 2 (since the entire expo has to built/updated and planned) and probably another year or two till the Avengers, Buffy would be old enough when she met the Avengers men and coupled with life experience I dont see there being any problem in this area.

Personally I love Loki but wouldn't mind Clint, Logan or Steve.
