Wood: Whether he's good or bad, his involvement with Faith has a creepy Oedipal aspect to it. In the 7th season I was rooting for a Xan/Faith pairing. Realistically the only Scooby girl that is any where as good paired with Xander is Dawn and even with an adult Dawn Xander will always first see her as Dawnie. Xan is the Scooby Man for the Scooby Girls, But who is the right girl for him, Faith or Dawn are the only ones, With Faith having the edge. I like the story, It's nice to re-read again.

Yeah, Wood was creepy. It seemed as if he was obsessed with getting a Slayer, any Slayer.

Feels like a Thirty Xanatos Pileup in the last few chapters. Five different bad guys and every noteworthy good guy on the map are invested in these kids for one reason or another. I rather imagine it's going to be this crazy back and forth obliteration for a while.

Yeah Lorne! Nice way to bring Connor back into the fold and his hormones are a hoot, he needs to find a different slayer though lol. Now its time to open a whole can of evil on those child stealing bastards I say slice and dice then ship their pieces to every demon community that has attacked the slayer with this message "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO GO AFTER OUR FAMILY!!! This is your only warning."

Connor needs a Slayer or woman a little less experienced shall we say?

What an emotional roller coaster chapter. I can't say I didn't see Xander offing someone to protect his family, after all the guy is pragmatic, what needs to be done is. I truly hope that Vi, Rona, and Lorne make it by some miracle cause I like their characters, especially Lorne. Like Connor saving the babies or at least I hope he's saving them.

Lorne was easily my favourite new as in Angel-created character. So much freakin' charm and hilarity.
