Review of chapter "Chapter Nine." from MaxGSandeman
Review:
The prisoners are so tied and beaten, that thinking straight might be hard. The guards have already told them that they're miles from anywhere, so running would be useless. Dawn tried it; dogs were used to track her down and that was when she was in good shape. What's the point in running. Break into the hut or at least some of them. There are tools there. If only someone could get a gun.
The reference to slayers; plural. Do the guards know that there are many slayers, assuming season seven happened but without Dawn.
Comments from author:
S7 happened much like it did in canon (really did Dawn make much of an impact to the big picture?).
As I always like to say, Resistance is never futile, niethers trying to escape.
Cheers, D.

Review:
If'n I remember rightly, Dawn has that green energy in her. For even if the women escape, the guards and dogs will be after them. Will Dawn be able to use that energy to take out the dogs and guards, so the escapees have no one after them?
Comments from author:
Generally I usually write it that after The Gift, Dawn is a normal teenager.

Underestimation of the enemy leads to a looot of kicked butts methinks. That's what they get for not reading the evil overlod list, they gonna get sooo screwed... I hope =S. Cool chapter, see ya!!.

Eventually.

Review:
I had a feeling that Godfrey was something like a fear demon, but feeding off pain and suffering. I was just a little wide of the mark. Perhaps Machida's cousin. I expect there have been very few visitors for the prisoners. Surely, someone would have noticed.
Comments from author:
You'd be surprised how easy it is for people to not notice.

South Mariana, huh, I like it. Certainly an AU. Bummed that Buffy died though. It goes to show that changing the routine never ends the way that authority expects it to. Letting Dawn stay in that routine would have turned out better. But then there would be boredom wouldn't there?

Review:
“What we have here is a failure to communicate,”. It's a long time since I saw the movie, but I could picture the captain and the way he said those words. I can't remember much else. Strange!
A problem about escaping, is Dawn lacks the knowledge of the area.
Comments from author:
The 'failure to communicate' is one of the classic lines from the film, I had to keep it in.

Review:
Hmm they put her in the 'Box' because they thought she might try to run away. That would piss me off. Then when she did run they beat the crap out of her friends. Then they beat her again when they caught her ... I would think she'd be looking for some payback. Maybe some help from the rest of the Scooby gang. Can't remember much about the movie, think the last time I saw it was in the seventies. Looking forward to what she'll do next.
Comments from author:
Actually I think I toned it down from the movie.
I've a feeling that Dawn's on her own with this one, of course she's got Ace and Society.
Cheers, D.
