Review of chapter "The Justice Leaguer and a Meta" from daveykins
Review:
Enjoyed all of the stories. Thank you for the good work.

Would be great if another team up happened - but perhaps not just with the original team up members :)

(Example: The White Knight having to team up with Alex ... or even a cross-dimension team up with WK + Willow?)
Comments from author:
Thanks. Unfortunately, we will both have to wait for my muse to give me another idea. That just doesn't happen every day.

Review:
Very nice End to this collection. And I very much like this Batman.

Only one negative in this Chapter: "if the real Alex Mack"... the real thing doesn't sit well with me, make the DC Alex Mack somewhat unreal.
Comments from author:
I tend to assume that every one of the character will assume that the person they first met - who in many cases they got to see in action, if they didn't actually get to know them - is the 'real' one.

Review of chapter "The Justice Leaguer and a Meta" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Of all the intriguing chapters in this fic which were left with somewhat unresolved issues, I'd be most interested in seeing a continuation of the SG1/Scooby crossovers involving Buffy Summers the spy thinking the SGC is up to no good in the "Stargate: SG1" 'verse and/or both Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson being determined to report or take down the IWC in the Buffyverse. If I had to pick just one, I guess I'd most like to see Jack O'Neill brought 'round (hopefully!) to realizing the amount of good that he could do with the IWC.

For whatever my 'vote' is worth! :)
Comments from author:
The one I think has the most potential is actually Buffy in Batman's universe. The problem is that my muse doesn't care. I have roughly 42 possible plotlines branching out of that one scene, and my muse wants me to work on other stuff. Buffy the spy has about 8 possibly alternative plotlines, some of which make the Stargate universe go decidely AU in short order, while others stay on track but end very abruptly for poor Buffy. And Jack O'Neill in the Buffyverse could be fun, but it might just be the usual 'noob runs into Buffy's world, get overwhelmed, etc.' plot. Without my muse beating me into writing, none of these are likely to go anywhere (unless someone else asks me for permission to write their take on things).

And your vote is worth something, just like your reviews.

Review:
Wasn't expecting you to go here because it is mainly exposition, but nicely done to answer some questions.
Comments from author:
It wasn't on my original list, but as I was wrapping up, my muse Agatha insisted I write it. After all, the Alex Mack of season 1 TSWoAM is hardly ready for anything like fighting superbattles, even if she is ready to put her neck on the line to save people.

Review:
I really liked this. Thanks for sharing!
Comments from author:
It turned out better than I thought it would. I originally wrote the 'Willow kidnapped by fembots' chapter, and then my muse hit me in the back fo the head with a half-brick inna sock, and suddenly I saw precisely what would happen if Dr. Franklin really did kidnap this Willow and Xander. And as I wrote it, I realized how Jaime's experience in Hermione's world would suddenly change how she handled fembots (and other threats).

Review:
Yeah, Batman isn't really the best choice for a friendly or encouraging first meeting :) But he isn't the type to let other people do things he could do himself either. Having Robin along is a good compromise and also gives Alex an "in" to some of the other young superhero teams. I'm sure she will do great things in time, and as Batman already suspects her family foundation gives her a better chance of being happy while doing it.

Thanks for all the other stories in this collection too. It was great to see so many different views on what could happen in these types of meetings. Keep up the great work with your other stories!
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review. Alex - powered up to DCU levels - would be a good fit with Young Justice or the Teen Titans.

Review:
This is such a good story.
Batman is really well written (which isn't that common), I really liked the way about him planning how to not be intimidating for example.
But more importantly, it made me feel good. I'm now full of energy! Which may or may not be a good thing considering I should have gone to bed an hour ago.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Batman has gone through so many iterations that lots of times one has to start with the question 'which Batman am I writing now'? I just don't write the Frank Miller Batman or the Adam West Batman.

Review:
excellent way to end this series.

By the way- don't be afraid of what some people consider boring. Now I think the Giles 007 went on too long but it was NOT boring.

One persons boring is anothers very interesting story. Hollywood sadly has very little idea most of the time on what is boring and what is ridiculous. Look at how many movies fail and TV series stink.
Comments from author:
When I write, I tend to have 'Stephen King Syndrome', also known as diarrhea of the keyboard (example: the Aquerna novel, which is a real doorstopper, started out in my head as three short stories). So I write more for me than for an easily-bored reader.

I wanted to let you know how much I've been enjoying the whole Brand of Extraordinary Women series ( even the series title is excellent). Really really good writing. Thank you.

Shawn
Comments from author:
Thanks. I never planned on writing fanfic on this site, but I accidentally saw the 'league of extraordinary women' challenge, and my muse went bananas. One moment I was reading the challenge, and the next moment, I was being mercilessly beaten with a plot idea and character concepts.

Review:
This was a good story to end this segment with. A hopeful Alex and a potentially awesome future heralded by caring mentors.

I haven't explored Whateley, only Crystal Hall for your HP story. Is there a concise summary/time line for newbies to tickle their tootsies in??

Review of chapter "The Justice Leaguer and a Meta" from Amberdrake
Review:
This was great. And now Bats has 2-3 west-coasters doing the hero thing. Maybe he should introduce them to each other even if they don't do the team thing. Or they could fake a hero vs hero fight to flush out some baddie.

But now I want Secret World Alex to meet her world's Bruce Wayne. Maybe she inspires him to become Batman without the vengency overtones. There's actually a Batman story like that from decades ago where he and Robin go to an alternate world without heroes or heroic legends (no Robin Hood, no Zorro, no El Cid). They prevent the Wayne murders and inspire young Bruce. One of my favorite lost comics.
Comments from author:
Thanks. But you'll just have to wait and see what I have in mind for later in TSRoAM.

Review of chapter "The OSI and a Computer Nerd’s Husband" from Gideon
Review:
Did Willow just create a friendly AI with an interest in programming during two days of forced programming? Singularity here we come! That could be much worse than anything Witch!Willow ever did (if the AI is not friendly enough) or much much better. And I think that Xander has more than earned his ten rewards :)
Comments from author:
Willow took what was already a frighteningly advanced AI (the fembots could pass themselves off as real people - real people you already knew!) and just improved their cognitive abilities along with their ethics and morals. But yes, it could be a dramatic change in Jaime's universe.

Review of chapter "The OSI and a Computer Nerd’s Husband" from joshlamont
Review:
This is, as always, absolutely fantastic. And while I grieve for all the poor versions that fell, the ones that they successfully contact more than make up for it! XD God, Xander. And poor Hermione! I hope she finds a nice demon hunter in the Council. Actually, Xander would be ideal, but he's got a queue.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Xander tends to be more creative than one would expect. And I think Hermione might be happier in the long run with a Wesley type who would *want* to sit around with her and discuss linguistic evolution and how that affects something like the Pegamum Codex. You never know.

Review:
That chapter was hilarious. Loved Xander messing with their programming.
Comments from author:
Xander has a strong ability to think outside the box, and Willow has a strong ability to implement complex plans. Put them together, and they're a Battle Couple.

Review of chapter "The OSI and a Computer Nerd’s Husband" from Infinix
Review:
I got some serious laughs out of this chapter, the Xander/Willow pairing came off perfectly and I think I am going to go look for some more good Xander/Willow. I was very young and it was a while ago that I watched Bionic Woman but don't she and Steve work more closely together?
Comments from author:
Jaime and Steve almost never worked together. The exceptions were the big cross-series fembot crisis and the post-series made-for-tv movies. The Jaime-and-Steve-together material was the set-up for turning Jaime into The Bionic Woman in the first place (and giving her convenient amnesia to end the relationship for years).
