Review of chapter "Bruce Wayne and a Golddigger, part I" from GwynApNudd
Review:
>> I'm wondering if she [Buffy] has any meta abilities in this world, expecially considering she's a Slayer in the core Scoobie-world and an Orphan in your Secret World-verse.

Similarly, given that both the Sword and the Scythe responded positively to her, I would assume that Alex is a witch (a direct descendent of GG, perhaps?) in the Harryverse, and a slayer in the Scoobyverse. We just haven't seen her, since we haven't seen any California scenes in those verses.

Reply to author's comment: Yeah, that one we saw. Liked Tim. Too bad there is no way to justify seeing him in the Alexverse.
Comments from author:
And then there's Alex in the DCverse...

Review:
Nice update to a very interesting and diverse story-verse.

You captured the characters pretty good, especially the reasons why I want to shake Superman and Batman until they cry uncle. ;)

Seriously, they consider saving Lex Luthor's live as more important then keeping Buffy Summers, or even the World, save.

The introduction of Faith is funny and ironic, don't know if it was intended that way, but I hope Buffy and Faith have a similar chemistry as in the Buffy-verse, especially the early times.

Hopefully this Buffy is going to be Martial Arts Barbie too.

I don't know how far your Buffy has thought her way through this, just hopefully more then "find evidence" and "expose evidence" as she would be in early BtVS. That could kinda go wrong, whats with the amoral sociopath she is playing against.
Comments from author:
I just remind myself that Original Gangsta Batman had no qualms about killing badguys, up to and including using firearms. Then Comics Code Batman had to cut that $h!t out. Still, I blame Frank Miller for Most Recent Batman. On the other hand, I don't want Supes and Bats to turn into the Justice Lords and kill off anyone who looked covetously at a bank.

And I'm glad you liked the special guest appearance of Faith Lehane.

And the pennies drop. Double sided in Two-Face's case...
Comments from author:
:D And why doesn't Batman have every single store on Second Street under surveillance when Two-Face is loose?

Batman's slipping if it took him five months to spot Buffy's play. ;)

I'm wondering if she has any meta abilities in this world, expecially considering she's a Slayer in the core Scoobie-world and an Orphan in your Secret World-verse.
Comments from author:
Well, I'm giving Bruce the benefit of the doubt and assuming he had major crises to deal with in the intervening months.

Review:
Nice. I like these "undercover AU Buffy" storylines, and it looks like this story will be as good as the Jack and Co in the Buffyverse storyline.
Comments from author:
Thanks. Just remember, in canon, Buffy's career day occupation was 'police officer'.

Review:
Love that Buffy's so-far successful campaign against Luthor included setting up Faith and Larry for their mutual benefit and protection . . . and that Batman and Selina took so long to figure out what was really going on with their world's version of Buffy. :)
Comments from author:
I'm assuming Batman had far more pressing things to focus on. :D

~~[ Yeah, saying ‘we have witches’ was something of an understatement. Sort of like owning the entire Russian nuclear arsenal and saying ‘we can make a few things go bang’. ]~~
I laughed pretty hard at this one.

~~[ A/N: But stay tuned, because the next chapter begins the story “Bruce Wayne and a Golddigger.” ]~~
WWOOOOOOOOO!

Yep, my muse is still nudging me forward... with a morningstar. :D

(in a sing song voice) Buffy's Got a Boy Friend, Buffy's Got a Boy Friend, Nyah nyah nyah Nyah nyah nyah!

Nice place for a temporary stopping point. This is a good one though, hope Agatha thinks so too.
Comments from author:
Yeah, and this boyfriend actually has a pulse. And really, wouldn't kissing someone twenty degrees colder than you just feel horrible?

"Lots o fun!

Wondering if they will check out Gen West to see if he was/is involved with the NID or the Initiative.

The Marcus Welby MD reference might be dated, as the show went off in 1976, IOW _before_ any of the Scoobies except Giles were born (assuming no time shift from Buffy being Called about 1996), and unlike MASH it hasn't been rerun much if at all.

Well, just be glad I didn't go with my original 'Dr. Kildare' reference. :D

Needed a coda with Jack slapping Daniel and saying "get your lips off her and get to bed" or similar ;)

Maybe an omake? :D

Three hours later, Jack goes back downstairs: "Hey Daniel! Come up for air once in a while!"

Review:
wonderful story, and ended on just the right note
at least until your muse hopefully starts bugging you again.

Still, it will be very interesting to see Buffy in the DC verse,
and how she deals with good old Lex.
(And I hope she makes it hurt.... A lot.)

That said, I still really hope to see Buffy
in all her 'Sydney Bristow' glory in the SG1 verse.
in part because of the quite likely meeting
with -00 agent Giles, Rupert Giles- in addition of course to SG1 :) :) :)
Comments from author:
Thanks. And why does Sydney Bristow always wear exactly the same wig, just in different colors? What kind of a disguise is that?

I always love it when Buffy and Jack start working well together -- whether as friends, comrades, or potentially something closer -- and this chapter did it particularly well. Great to see Jack completely committing to living and working with the Slayers for the foreseeable future. :)
Comments from author:
Jack's the kind of person the Council needs, because there have been too many Quentin Travers types already.

Still not sure why Kennedy and Willow split up, but that does not matter to the story.
I am pleased that Buffy is dating a human this time, so I do hope that there will be more this group
Thanks
Comments from author:
I split them up for minor plot purposes in "The League of Extraordinary Women" so this is my reconciliation.
