Review of chapter "SG-1 and an Agent, part XIII" from VillageOrchid
Review:
Did that sounds like later season Daniel would be almost her ideal man?
Comments from author:
:D Yeah, Daniel did pick up some pythons as the show progressed.

Review:
While the NID double crossing allies and raiding neutrals was bad the main SGC groups should have done more looting when they had the chance. Looting is not a modern military tactic for good reason most of the time. Turns troops into bandits and distracts from effective fighting but there is not another good source for Goa'uld technology.
Comments from author:
And Liz can use that technology!

Review:
I am enjoying the Buffy and Jack snark and then you made it better with Sidney snark
Thanks
Looking forward to more
Comments from author:
:D Yes, Sidney is not going to let Liz get in all the snarkiness.

Review of chapter "SG-1 and an Agent, part XIII" from ShalaDakiri
Review:
If there's one thing that should convince SG-1 that Sid isn't a goa'uld, it's the ongoing snark-fest. I doubt any goa'uld and most Tok'ra wouldn't snark and even fewer would use semi-obscure Tau'ri pop-culture references.

Look forward to whatever they end up stealing (maybe they'll get lucky and the SGC will be able to keep it).

And I'm now wondering how a meeting between Liz/Si'ney and Jacob/Selmak will go.
Comments from author:
Yes, I can't really see a Goua'uld effectively imitating a snarky Valley Girl.

Review:
“And Liz is contaminating my language with her speech patterns. This is quite frustrating.”
Poor Sidney. :( :D

Liz/Sidney/Jack interaction is so fun, that I'd read a novel-length story of just dialogue between them. :D
Comments from author:
Poor Sidney. Poor Liz. The next thing you know, the Tok'ra will be wondering what the heck happened to Sidney.

Review of chapter "SG-1 and an Agent, part XIII" from Starfox
Review:
Good chapter! Love the bledning effect, and Buffy's naming conventions and insights, well done! Snarking competition in the middle of a desperate commando mission... only Jack and Buffy!
Comments from author:
Yes, Carter is probably standing off to the side and wincing when Jack isn't looking.

Review of chapter "SG-1 and an Agent, part XIII" from (Current Donor)MarcusRowland
Review:
I've just realised who is riding inside Elizabeth - obviously been a bit slow, because from Si'ney to Sineya is not exactly a big stretch. But then I've never claimed to be a linguist.

Elizabeth's last line in this chapter feels VERY right for this character, odd her BtVS equivalent never seems to have gone for that strategy.
Comments from author:
Buffy was always ready to appropriate stuff under the right circumstances. Swords, Mister Pointy, a Scythe... :D

Review:
"Liz grinned at O’Neill. “Hey, let’s go steal some stuff!”"

If SuperLiz doesn't join SG-1, turning every future mission into a Liz/Sidney/Jack snark fest, it would be most unfortunate!
Comments from author:
The dreaded 'Liz and Jack Show' coming to Goua'uld worlds live when they least want it. :D

Review:
Oh yes! Things are starting to look up! And do I see some flirting between Liz and Teal'c? If so, GO FOR IT! There is another author out there who I follow who has the two of them as a couple and Tuffy works OH SO WELL! For now though, let Sam do the Big Brian stuff and take down the shields. *Come along Pinky, we must prepare for tomorrow night. Gee Brain what are we going to do tomorrow night? The same thing that we do every night Pinky . . . TRY AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!*
Comments from author:
Liz and The Big Guy? Teal'c already has a significant other.

Review:
I LOVE the Sid/Buffy dialogue! :-)
Comments from author:
Thanks. Buffy's the most fun to write when she has a suitable foil. Right now, she has Si'ney and Jack, as well as Giles and Carter (and maybe Teal'c too).

Review:
FYI for DieselDriver:

while the Adam Adamant series on DVD is indeed hideously expensive,
the last time I checked, you can watch many if not all of the episodes on YouTube
for the price of an occasional commercial.
and I agree that Batzulger's Willow Adamant stories are quite good.
Comments from author:
And even expensive DVD collections bombard you with commercials and trailers before you get to watch the show. I would rather see a commercial for artificial christmas trees or a fund to help children in Africa than sit through trailers for movies I despised the first time I saw them, or - even worse - movies so bad I refused to see them. "It's... National Lampoon's Sierra Leone Vacation! The sequel to all those other sequels that made you hate the fairly decent original!"

Review:
Ok, I'm slow I guess. I just realized the similarity between "Sidney" and "Sin'eyah" or however it's spelled. Cool thing is better communication between this "empowering being" and the original Buffy's "empowering being" and the Buffy analog here. It has to be intentional because nothing you ever write is accidental. I don't remember any reviews remarking on it though. Have they?

Ok, I'm slow reading too. Ack! Apparently this is the first time anyone noticed so I'm good with that. Took me awhile to get to it because I was reading one of Batzulger's longer stories. I don't seem to get the email notifications as quickly as some others too.

Edit to your comment: It was the stronger than Diamond series. I looked at the Adam Adamant series on Amazon and my eyes bugged out at the price. $375. Yikes. I like Willow Adamant.
Comments from author:
Yes, Si'ney and Sineya are deliberately similar, because I love obscure refs. And yes, someone has spotted it before, but very few people have written about it in the reviews.

And you should definitely read some of those longer batzulger stories. "Slayer by Gaslight", "Stronger than Diamond"... I think I've clicked a recommendation for five or six of them and plugged some others.

You won't have to worry about email notifications too much, because I intend to slide "Hermione Granger and the Boy Who Lived" into the noon Wednesday-Saturday slot I have been using for TSRoAM. I expect a lot of confusion when people step into the new story in mid-stream and have no earthly idea what is going on with The Golden Trio. :D

Review:
Very nice job on this update, hoping fore more soon. What arc will you do after this one?
Comments from author:
Thanks. Next update is in two weeks. And after this one I had planned to write a 'White Knight' sequel with Xander and Amy, but I still don't even have a complete outline I'm happy with.

The most important advantage of a Tok'ra symbiote: a more impressive voice for Arnold imitations. :D

Continuing to get major enjoyment out of the super-spy-and-part-time-comedienne team of Sidney and Liz! :)
Comments from author:
:D Liz is just as snarky and ungrammatical as her counterpart, so it's all of the funness.
