I like the Enjoining idea, not so much on the magic siblings thing... Or the Stargate cross in general. It's a solid idea that could easily lead into season 5 if you wanted it to without any need to cross.

But your story, do what you want and good luck.

I would have expected general fandom to grab that idea much more enthusiastically than it has.

Fortunately, my muse seems to like the idea, so I'm hoping she'll continue to run with it.
