Review of chapter "From Sunnydale to Rivendell" from Jaylynn
Review:
*grins* I had a feeling more would be going than just Joyce and the girls.
Comments from author:
Xander and Willow weren't about to let Buffy march off into some unknown and potentially dangerous dimension alone.

Poor Glory. All that effort, and no Key. Meanwhile, Elrond is in for a surprise, to be sure. Arwen suddenly getting 2 new sisters. Aragorn is going to have a huge number of in-laws. Well someday. Celebrian's return, and with two daughters--it'll be huge news all over Middle Earth. Maybe that nice Saruman will come to visit? Willow can help him with his research into ring lore!
Comments from author:
Yep, pity poor Glorificus. Not only is her Key gone, she has no way to find out where it went, since everyone who knows (except Giles, who still has a Slayer watching his back) either went to Middle Earth or left town.

I really like your Joyce too. A bit kinder then the show, I think. I have never liked Dawn, but I don't mind her as much the way you write her. I'm going to have to track you now, so I can catch whenever you send them back to Arda. Thanks for sharing this fic with everyone! :)
Comments from author:
I always thought aside from her freakout at Buffy being the Slayer, Joyce was remarkably kind- she mothered all the Scoobies, even Spike. (It may be what gave me the idea to make her Celebrian, who we know only as the absent mother of Arwen, Elrohir, and Elladan.)

I do wonder what Glory might do when she finds out her key is gone.
EDIT: No. I mean what will she do to the Scoobies (or whoever she blames) when she finds out she's stuck. Those left behind still have an angry and insane hellgoddess to battle and now your most experienced Slayer is gone.
Comments from author:
She'll be out of luck- no key, and no way to follow it.

I don't miss bratty Dawn I like her how she is now.
Will Buffy be stronger than most elves because she is the Slayer.
Can't wait what you will write next.
Comments from author:
But it's fun to write her bratty from time to time! (I don't do it very often.) Afraid you'll have to wait to see how Buffy fits in with the elves... Thanks for the review.

Poor Giles... he'll have to contact Angel and arrange to have Faith break out of prison & return to Sunnydale. And everyone I'm sure feels sorry for Glory now, no way home. Unless she follows? Glory in Middle Earth would be of the weird. But her 'leprous hobbits' would have fun in the Shire. I can just picture Buffy & Dawn with a mountain of luggage. Especially if they realize that ME is kind of low tech. Were iPods out back then? Just Celebrian returning would be huge news; with TWO daughters, shockwaves through ME.
Comments from author:
Sorry for Glory? LOL Nope, she won't be following- once her Key leaves, she has no way to escape her current prison. (Though the leprous hobbits in the Shire would be amusing. Also, somewhat disastrous, given that they'll be arriving before Frodo sets off on his adventure.) And Buffy and Dawn are in for a bit of culture shock...
