Review of chapter "Into The Woods" from AllenPitt
Review:
Anariel & Thranduil should get along splendidly. And him having just had multiple dwarves & a hobbit as 'guests', too. Probably not in a good mood. And about to head off for the Battle of 5 Armies. Buffy will not be happy if excluded from that one.
Comments from author:
Buffy won't be excluded from the Battle of 5 Armies- working on that one next. :)

Review of chapter "Into The Woods" from bradsan
Review:
Oww Legolas is so gone get it. Buffy is even worse than her twin brothers. I really hope there will be some sparks between them. I really hope for a pairing between them if pairings are gone be involved. If not no harm done but if you consider some pairings in this story I would love to have Legolas/Annariel.

Like it that Buffy is getting more used to Annariel, she only has to learn to introduce herself with this given name. It wouldn't be bad because she could use her Buffy when she want to go out and don't want another to know who she really is. Like Aragorn is using Estel.

I can't wait how Buffy and Thrandruil will get along. He loves weapons and loves to talk strategies if I remember correctly. Will there be story telling because Buffy has a lot of stories to share with Thrandruil which he would love.

Can't wait for the next chapter. my only regret is that you didn't show Haldir's face when Buffy fought off all those Orc's. I would love to read a flashback about that one, maybe a flashback from Haldir.
Comments from author:
Still haven't quite made up my mind about pairings- I keep going back and forth on it. Afraid I skipped the early days of Buffy and Thranduil (although I may go back to it at some point), but I'm working on a piece with the two of them interacting after the Battle of 5 Armies.

Review:
*snorflesnort* Oh yeah, Buffy is definitely going to have Legolas, and his Lord Father, having conniptions the entire time she's there.

Thank you for the update, it was a nice read!
Comments from author:
Thanks! Thranduil and Legolas will get used to Buffy... eventually.

Happy you see another chapter. I hooe Thrandul and Buffy end up bonding just to throw things off.
Comments from author:
Thanks! They eventually will- once Thranduil gets used to a daughter of Elrond who's just as crazy as her brothers.

Review of chapter "Into The Woods" from Nosi
Review:
Another thoroughly enjoyable chapter. Sounds like it might be a while before we see Buffy in a big-time battle, but hopefully the wait won't be too long. Also love all the interactions between Buffy & the twins, as well as meeting and confusing new elves. Hoping to see more chapters coming along soon.
Comments from author:
Thank you. Not sure if the Battle of 5 Armies qualifies as a big-time battle, but Buffy will be there.

Review of chapter "Into The Woods" from (Current Donor)vidicon
Review:
Now that looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

Wonder what Thranduil will make of Anariel. If I have the timing right, the Dwarves have fairly recently escaped or are currently incarcerated? The preparations for attacking Dol Guldur might be taking a while, this being elves and all...

Very nice, thanks for writing

Review of chapter "Daughters of Elrond" from RogueAngel
Review:
I love this story. It's a really novel way of getting Buffy and co. into Middle Earth. That doesn't involve death, kidnapping, or some other underhanded plot that leaves a massive angst fest to get over. You know I always found something funny about that scene in Buffy were, she comes back after the CPR. One second she's lying there, and then her eyes snap open and she takes a deep breath. Which is typically not how one recovers after CPR from at near drowning experience. So not a stretch for me to think something else was going on there. Question? You've touch on Buffy's un-elf like height, and given reason but what about the other elf-like features. The pointed ears, or the glowing. Glamour maybe? and second question, what are the chances of you making this Buffy/Legolas? (hopefully look, ready to bribe if need to). Looking forward to more, Jess
Comments from author:
Thanks! To answer your first question, I hadn't really thought on the ears, I guess I could have Tindomiel or one of the Scoobies ask at some point if she's noticed her ears are different now. I just assumed that to elven eyes, she would look spirit/glowing-wise as an elf should. (It's not something that would have been apparent in Sunnydale, or even to non-elves in Middle Earth, so there's been no reason for anyone to remark on it.)

As to the second question, it's even odds at this point whether things will tip in a Buffy/Legolas direction. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Review of chapter "Daughters of Elrond" from BarbarossaRotbart
Review:
After rereading the whole story twice I cannot wait for the next chapters.

It would really be fun if Buffy is part of the force that drives the Necromancer out of Dol Guldur. And I really hope that Tindomiel and Estel will be together in the end.
Comments from author:
Thanks! Hopefully you're less disappointed than Buffy that she doesn't get to be in on that fight- her parents and grandparents have reasons for not wanting her close to Sauron yet.

Review of chapter "Daughters of Elrond" from AngelQueen
Review:
Oh, very interesting! Joyce as Celebrian? Very cool idea!

I admit, I was really caught by surprise that being revived by Xander after she was drowned constituted the choice between being of the Edain or the Eldar for Buffy. So if Buffy's choice was already made, however unintentionally, and Dawn has consciously made the choice to live forever in order to keep Morgoth or some other Big Bad from getting their grubby paws on the Key, then that means that Arwen will still choose to stand among the Edain out of love for Aragorn.

Unless there is more going on than we know. In canon, Arwen spent the entirety of Aragorn's childhood in Lothlorien, so the return of Celebrian, Buffy, and Dawn to Middle-Earth could have skewed things in a different direction. So exciting!

Thanks so much for writing this! I'm looking forward to more! :)
Comments from author:
Thank you!

The return of Buffy, Dawn, and Celebrian will change some things, but Arwen-Aragorn is going to stay. (I think it's actually a far more powerful choice if Arwen makes it after having talked to someone who has lived as a mortal and seen death often- not to mention after having been around the Scoobies, who are all mortal and will visibly age and eventually die. In Tolkien's version, she made her choice having never really been around mortals or fully understanding what it was he was asking of her.)
