Great story so far - hope there's more to come. You perhaps could also have had Whistler mention how nobody called Faith and the Scoobies to account for their even more disastrous plan after kicking Buffy out. Ignore the pro-Xander crowd (I see they're already kicking off).

I will, I do agree. In truth I might now write a third chapter that looks at Buffy meeting back up with Faith. Faith meeting the RED crowd would be a scream and I feel a story that should be told.

Glad that Giles regrets how things ended with Buffy; maybe that means there's a chance at reconciliation down the road. Xander and Kennedy still seem stuck on self-righteous mode, so they're doubtful. What about Willow, though? After Whistler's speech, is she starting to wake up?

Willow is starting to wake up to what she did. I think that when I can, I may write a sequel showing reconciliation amongst certain parties. Although I can't say when.

Blah-blah-blah. The Scoobies are EEEE-VIL and really, really suck and Buffy is simply perfect and never did anything wrong, and the Powers That Be favor her above all others despite the fact that she continually tried to avoid following their plans/intentions.

If you had Buffy even wonder whether she had made mistakes and should have at least considered other plans, this might be a bit more believable. Her certainty that everyone working with her had betrayed her only emphasizes her self-centered, narcissistic personality traits.

As it is, stereotypes and simplistic, one-dimensional characterizations grow tedious. I won't bother reading anything more.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I wrote the characters based on how I perceived the characters of the last season and their actions.

I really love this story. I also agree that you should write a sequel dealing with the Scoobies finding out. Considering their past behavior they would probably consider it a betrayal of not only them but of her powers also. Especially Xander and Kennedy.

Yep I think you called their reaction but I think I have just the idea to set it up! I'm sure before the end of August the Chapter will be up.
