Review of chapter "The Idiotic Necrotic Exotic" from TaraLi
Review:
I cannot *IMAGINE* how hard it must be to come up with that level of PURE DITZ! That was truly a work of art!
Comments from author:
Thanks. Harmony's hard to write. Joss set a very high standard that I cannot compete with.

Review of chapter "The Imposing Discomposing Posing" from Zorgdub
Review:
That chapter was great, I loved it from beginning to the end. I didn't see a single part that made me stop and realize I was reading some text rather than witnessing a story. The characters were spot on, the rhythme good, the events interesting, the plot just present enough.

I really don't have anything constructive to add, so I'm just going to say "thanks for a great chapter".
Comments from author:
Thanks for reading. The constructive critiques are really helpful. I look forward to seeing what you think of the next chapter, in two weeks.

Review of chapter "The Imposing Discomposing Posing" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Excellent use of some elements from last Thursday's episode of TBBT (especially Penny, working those glasses and the smart, intimidating manner!), and it's great to see Penny putting her acting chops and her interpersonal skills to good use defending underage slayers from the unkind attentions of metaphorically slimy landlords (since they can more or less handle the literally slimy demons by themselves . . . providing they don't play juvenile knife games with the mystical wards that are supposed to keep them safe from demonic attack at home, of course!).

It's also good to see Xander coming across with the 'tough love' on a couple of slayers who obviously DO need adult supervision and some time in a cramped room together to think about the error of their careless ways.
Comments from author:
Oddly enough, I wrote that scene with Penny with the glasses and accent back in November. I guess the scriptwriters are hacking my computer. :-) No, it's just one of those ideas whose time has come.

Review of chapter "The Imposing Discomposing Posing" from Gideon
Review:
Wow! Penny was amazing! I wish I had been able to hear her British accent. I bet it was amazing(ly funny). A little preparation goes a long way I guess. And it helps that the two slayers were ready and willing to back her up, and each other - even if they do fight like cats and dogs normally. Xander's punishment probably seems harsh to them but I think it fits the crime. They really do need to learn a bit more responsibility if they are to live independently.
Oh, and who is the mysterious contact that Xander and Faith will be meeting?
Comments from author:
Ah, the mysterious contact. Heh-heh-heh. You'll find out about that in the next couple chapters.

Review:
Penny is having lots of fun. Very good. Those girls are too irresponsible to be cut loose from the Slayer House. Tssk.

Thanks for writing!
Comments from author:
Well, Buffy and Faith weren't exactly role models when they were sixteen. It's a hazard of being a teenager.

Review of chapter "The Imposing Discomposing Posing" from hjdevnull
Review:
Hahahaha, oh, this is classic! This is a really great look at Penny's life with the Slayers, and I love how you have her doing her job well and scheming well, but still having doubts and everything. It shows her growth while still showing that she, perhaps, doesn't recognize her growth yet. I'd love to see Sheldon making some note of her growing competence, or perhaps Leonard (as, by default, the more observant one in regard to other humans), although either could be surprised by her. But I'm willing to take whatever else you come up with! Thanks so much for taking the time to write this.
Comments from author:
Thanks. I'm just glad I'm not the one who has to deal with hundreds of teenaged Slayers, because we all remember what Buffy and Faith were like.

Review:
Wonderful update! I always liked Faith, and I adore Faith and Buffy against the world, and I'm glad there's forgiveness going on.

Comments from author:
Thanks. I tend to give most of my characters a break, sooner or later. Although, whether Penny's future plans will constitute a 'break' is left up to the individual. :-)

Review:
Delightful! Penny can definitely hold her own with 'X' and 'F', and it sounds like she's come up with a good plan.

As for Penny's confidences to Faith in return, well, I may not be a big fan of the 'Lenny' (though that could well be the fault of the writers of the show, who've been turning out a lot of sub-par episodes these last couple of years and too often seem to be twisting Penny's relationship with Leonard into something that doesn't seem to be much good for either of them in terms of character development and emotional and mental health), but Penny's 'thinking I made a mistake in breaking up with Leonard' story was probably the best possible parallel to Faith's own story with Xander, so . . . again, very well done! :)
Comments from author:
Penny might be able to banter with X and F, but holding her own in other areas might be a different matter.

that is pretty sweet. and as I'm currently on a TBBT kick, pertinent to my interests.
Comments from author:
Thanks. TBBT has some interesting characters with very distinctive voices. This makes it harder to write in some ways.

Well I see that Penny isn't afraid of a challenge :) She also isn't afraid to give good advice to people who could rip her head off with one hand! I can see her really making a place for herself with the council.
Comments from author:
But she needs to be spending her spare time driving Sheldon to doctors' appointments! Be rational about this! Sheldon is more important! :-) :-)
