I love this story! It is playful, insightful, and small twists on a couple of great storylines, and a great job of adding Dawn into some of the great hero's of the comics. Good job.

Great piece. I get why dawn was angry with Buffy ad the gang. However I can easily see Buffy falling apart when she loses Giles. I can see her shutting down on an emotional level and feeling her sister has abandoned her for her new friends/family. I can also see her thinking the others would have told her about Giles. I also can see her being foolish enough to blame without thinking about it. I can also see her having to hold up the bloody council alone because they always drop the hard stuff on her then blame her when she makes a mistake. However Dawn is being a bit hard on her. She's human and frankly forgiven Dawn a hell of a lot over the years. I think it be fair for Dawn to do the same. But the plot line works. Personally I think Fury is a mof worse in many ways then dumbles in hp. However like Jane says he gets the job done. I just hope he doesnt manipulate them into never being a family again or that dawn holds a gruge to long.

I've missed you (and this story)! I'm so glad that you are back with us, and I hope that your job change makes as much of a difference in your life as my baby sister's has in hers. She is smiling a lot more now, more than she has in years. Oh, and a good update chapter as well. I'm just happy that you are writing again, even though I don't have much to say review-wise.

Welcome back. You write shock very well. Sounds like Jane is one of those who will think fast, act decisively, get through the crisis, and then have their breakdown after they have time to think about what just happened.

For a story about Dawn there was very little, or rather no Dawn in this chapter.

It's a story that revolves around Dawn but she doesn't need to be in every chapter. She'll be on the next chapter
