I tried to stick to canon as much as possible, so first-year-of-college Buffy is a lot more unsure of herself, still feeling things out, and hasn't gotten all bitter about dying. And I kinda imagine that Sam and Dean wouldn't be as jaded and bitter either at this stage of their lives.

Barring monsters, I've got the next few weeks ready to go. The epilogue is still months away, though, so hopefully you'll stick around to the end. :P

Definitely still loving it. Can't wait to see what happens with John. :)

Dialogue is usually where I start when I write a scene, but I try to have an arc planned, or at least plot points that I want to get across at that point in the story.

You vicious tease with the next bit! I'm liking the hints at the Buffy/Dean undercurrents as well the thinking behind Dean's actions and the wall he puts up. I have to say, I love your Buffy, she's precious and her thoughts about Pike, Owen, Ford were funny and so accurate! Can't wait for more.

Even though they're sometimes frustrating to write, I'm actually having fun making up the little teasers at the bottom.

Ch. 08 will be the longest yet, so I needed a little Buffy interlude. A Buffy-buffer between the brothers! (Ohhh... I think I need a little brain bleach after that comment.)

Oooh, too much fun, this story! I like how you are switching the POVs although some parts are getting confusing when all three are talking but it's easy to catch up once the conversation moves along. Like when Sam is saying something or Buffy and then Dean says something without an actual, "Dean said" or whatever...

I like how the relationships are evolving into more and Sam's crush on Buffy is simply too precious - he's so young and nubile! Lol. I like that he was jealous of Dean and possibly getting it on with Buffy and Buffy's reaction. It's almost like they've all been siblings to each other before with the war of the words going on. I wonder how this will all evolve into being a Buffy/Dean relationship and how Sam will react. I also loved the Bobby's house reference and Dean's preference for shooting things instead of learning new things.

Can't wait for more!

heehee. I never really thought that guys did the whole angsty thing over girls until I found my brother's journal (and he must never know!). Add in Dean's "way with women" and you have instant - smutty - conclusion.

I get bored writing in one POV, and 3rd omniscient gets too confusing for me to write when there's more than two characters. Hence the changing POV. And I usually start with writing dialogue and fill in the narrative, and then I get bored writing he said/she said. Sorry for the confusion.

I sort of dumped the first couple chapters because they're already up on ff.net. I'm going to try to even it out so that I release the chapters twice a week. But I'm having so much fun writing it that it's hard to keep it to myself.

You are capturing him quite well, I like the subtle mentions of wanting to go to college and Dean and Sam using Buffy for information. Ha! I can't wait until they find out more. :P And to get Dean's POV will be awesome. So will Sam and Dean be fighting for Buffy? And I like how you stepped up the douche quota for Parker although seeing him trying to be nice to Buffy while wanting to kill Dean would have been hilarious before getting pissed. :P And quick updates! Actually, I posted it up at FF.net first, and a reviewer suggested posting it here as well. So I'm dumping all the chapters already posted. After that, I'll probably update at least once, maybe twice, a week.

Lol - very cute! I really love how you captured Buffy's thought process, I could totally see her thinking every which complicated way you wrote her thoughts and it was just perfect! So where is John, will we get to see him since it's so early in their hunting careers? I like the swagger of Dean, very smooth and very confident, so anti- the jaded Dean we have now! It's so fun to read. And lol - will Sam actually have a fake ID to buy her a Long Island? Haha, I can see Sam being very uncomfortable with that, such a good boy at the time.

Oh, Parker. I hope it's Dean who gets into Buffy's pants. :P And as less than rebound guy. I kind of wish Dean had just offered to buy Buffy a drink and then taken her to the bar and bought it for, incited a fight with Parker or something after leaving him at the pool table! I also want to see Buffy let Dean know that just because she's head over heels for Parker, she ain't no slouch. :P

John gets a few POV chapters of his own. Not as many as Buffy, Sam, and Dean, but his storyline is integral to the plot twist.

I figured that 20-year-old Dean would be a little more carefree than he is in the series. And 16-year-old Sam would still be bookish and quiet, but still a teenage boy!
