Review of chapter "The Dangers of Dreams" from Dmitri
Review:
That was quick! Also, fast-paced. Guess the drums aren't as easily destroyed as it seems at first...
Comments from author:
What can I say? I was inspired this weekend. You have no idea how helpful and inspiring reviews can be, even just the inane comments some people make spark off a whole set of chapters at times. As to the drums, I realized that I hadn't actually dealt with them, so I figured that I should.

Review of chapter "Settling the Family or Confusing the Normal Humans" from Dmitri
Review:
Sigh. The Jones family is going to get all the wrong impessions about the Doctor and co. - and they'll still be much better than the truth (for the Joneses).
PS: Your remark about the soldiers reminded me of Az and Crowley from "Good Omens" - they were compared to field agents (or soldiers) from the different sides who found that they had more in common with each other than with their office superiours, you know?
Comments from author:
Yeah, I've read the book and the sad thing is that its not the first time such a thing has happened. Watch the old movie "Enemy Mine" and you'll see the same thing portrayed. Hell, it shows up all throughout our planet's history. How sad is it that the soldiers on both sides are more like the brother fighting brother of the American civil war at any point in history you may care to name than the idiots in power sorting it out in the conference room the way it should be? Even playing a hand of cards to determine the fate of resources and country, as inane as it sounds, is likely better than the mess they make of it now.

Review of chapter "Settling the Family or Confusing the Normal Humans" from Eureka
Review:
Chapters chapters for me to read..I do so enjoy an update and don't get to read them as much as I would like. But that just means that I get to read two to four chapters at at time.

I really like this story...(Didn't much care for the one where the "Master" was so loony and mean.) Love that Tardis is so sentimental about them.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I understand. I can see where the "drums" pushed his sanity level, especially without the Doctor to help stop him and balance it out but I think they took the insanity a bit to far from the original scheming mastermind that everyone loved to hate and could always not only match the Doc but help keep him grounded and in check. So I merged some of the later "Classic" versions of him with the supposed "current" version. I'm going to have to do something about the drums but....

Review:
Wow another chapter already! That meant another pounce of course. :) Another great chapter and I am loving how the Tardis is being shown in this story.
Comments from author:
I'm glad that you're having fun. ^^

You have to admit that the Tardis is a bit of a mother hen when she can get away with it. *smirk*

Review of chapter "Introspection and Command Changes" from Runewolf
Review:
Nothing wrong with sentimental...

Thanks for the fic, I'm enjoying it.
Comments from author:
I'm glad that you like the fic. I work hard on it. I was a bit worried about the sentimental bit but its something that many people over look leaving it as subtext. Sometimes you just have to say it.

Review of chapter "Introspection and Command Changes" from Dmitri
Review:
Well, this was a nice change of narrative perspective! I enjoyed reading it! ...And thank you for the mention - it was nothing.
Comments from author:
Its important for those of us who write and post to get reviews and I think that its equally important for that need to be met and acknowledged. Again thank you for your reviews, they've helped me keep writing. ^^

I'm glad that you liked the perspective change. I've known a few military personnel and the reason that things get done isn't usually because the higher ups deem that it should be done but because those with their boots on the ground know what the devil they are doing and have both the ability as well as the guts to get it done. The idiots in power usually wind up getting people killed or badly hurt rather then paying attention to the important pieces of information. They'd rather gamble with lives then actually consider the implications aside from a possible threat to their personal status. But that's one of the reasons those in service deserve our respect and our help, when push comes to shove, they're the ones to get what needs doing done. They are the ones to keep us safe.

Your welcome. That chapter was supposed to go up before the weekend but something came up. I'm fairly certain that I've got some sort of bug that's been dragging on me for a couple of weeks now. The next chapter is almost done...

Review of chapter "Cranky Countries" from aeraveil
Review:
Well you gotta remember, the Tardis is a bit unusual herself, after all, she admitted to stealing the Doctor in the first place in order to see the universe! And all along, he thought it was the other way around! Lol.
Comments from author:
Very true and he was protesting the whole way that he'd only ever borrowed her. *snicker*

Review of chapter "Check Ups and Back Ups" from Dmitri
Review:
Nice twist in the end, though I am worried about it: what if Tardis decides that it's her turn to go mad and take over the multiverse? That can be hard even for the Doctor and others to fix!
Comments from author:
True true, but it makes you wonder how much of the Tardis is forged into the connection to her pilot and can she spontaneously add more people to that connection?
