I love 'Girl Genius' but at the moment Gil isn't a shoe-in, though Tarvek "might" not be competition for Agatha's favor as much as a..."partner". Menage' a 3?

Intersting, I really didn't expect this on to get any further. Thing is, I recognize several of these names from XCOM Unknown Enemy but the metahuman experiments sound like CADMUS from DCU and neither fit very well, especially when meted with your 'unsolvable math problems'. both DC and Marvel universes solved most of those back in the 40's.

It is really interesting, Just kinda hoping for greater interaction within the universe the testing is interesting, but it has been so long since An update I had to go back and review the first few chapters to remember what the story was about

This chapter was to introduce some of the characters to the readers and to develop Xander's growth as a Heterodyne. I know it's been a long time but Real Life must be the priority.

I'll be honest: when I first saw the title, I feared it would just be some lame copy of Spark of Genius by Michealsuave but I can happily say I was wrong. You went for a much darker approach and I can't wait to see how you'll continue this. Great Job!

So Xander became a Heterodyne, and Janus banished him to "this" other universe.... which I don't recognize. The only "Stone" I know of in the DC Comics Universe, is Victor Stone, aka Cyborg.
Admittedly, I'm not up-to-date on my comics, but my google search didn't yield any results either.
Besides, this doesn't seem to be in keeping with the DC style, more the Image/Wildstorm style. But I'm not aware how/if the two got put together.

Another awesome chapter, I like where this is going, and I'm kind of hoping for something with a Xander a bit darker than he is in "A Spark of Genius". I really hope you update soon!
