Also what you did with Dru.... I love it

Thanks anglefate

Now the question is: what will Spike do with a 'Belldandyfied' Dru?

Review:
Joyce and a thoroughly redeemed but still rather roguish Mayor Wilkins?

Well, having the new Yggdrasil and Nidhogge networked together, no frigging wonder.

If you include the Season Eight comics, the Seed of Wonder is down there and will end up tapped, so the Powers are out of luck and this paradigm is going to become as hard to shift as Fred Dukes at an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review CrystalBlaze

The Mayor is an interesting character. In canon he is certainly evil, but it's (in my opinion) rather a dark gray than a full black like Angelus or Glory (the First Evil is out of competition). His affection for Faith is perhaps the most evident indication that, had he not been suckered in the pact with the Hellmouth's demons, he would have made other choices.

As for the Seed, it exists in this timeline. In Traveller Chronicles, Washu has been wondering what could have duplicated her three gems... In this timeline, wait and see.

Absolutely wonderful. The characterizations are spot on, the writing itself is fluid and well-paced, and I can't wait for more. Keep on writing man, I just love this story.

Review:
Just thinking, all these lovely experiments of Tokimi's that she runs on her daughter....if the Key ever generates an overself I have the feeling she'll be up there in power level. Maybe the multiverse equivalent of the number zero. Or potentially someone on Tenchi-kami-sama's level. Eh, until then I'll keep enjoying Tokimi making all these wonderful anomalies. Thanks for the good read, needed something after Sandy (in NJ).
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review Aenea and I hope things will go better in your area.

About the Key: well, I'm fond to compare her to one of Lovecraft's entities: Yog-Sothoth.

Review:
I was wrong. I thought that this was a one shot. Opps? This is looking quite interesting, and I can't wait to see more now. You know, Hild has always been one of my favorite characters. Seriously. She's... complex is the best term for her I guess. She loves her daughter, but her daughter is afraid to love her back, and she, while in charge of "Hell" is not all that evil in my minds eye, more chaotic then anything else. In fact her "Hell" isn't quite that evil when you look at it, more a... evil disabling enabler then anything else, if you know what I mean. They enable the evil, to take evil out of the world faster. I like that kinda view on Hell. And it really looks like Buffy is having QUITE the hard time accepting how things are right now, isn't she? Well, thanks for writing this, as I said, looking to see a lot more on this fic soon, bye for now.
Comments from author:
Thanks deathgeonous,

Hild is also a favorite of mine for this complexity, this ambivalence. While the idea of using the Halloween spell to put her in someone's head has already been used, I wanted to do it with Joyce who was, in my opinion, the person who would take the Daimakaicho's mantle with the same spirit as Hild did.

As for Buffy, the idea in this story plays on how her desire for a normal life clashes with the transformation.

Xan as the one who sees should seen that one coming. I don't think the P.T.B and the senior partners are going to let this slide .The Watchers Council is going to fuck something with Travers still in charge Buffy is going to have a mental breakdown if see keeps going like she is. Jasmine plans have gone in the crapper.
are they going to stay on mid guard or move?. but still more please
Comments from author:
Thanks Kyro,

Xander as Heimdall was an easy choice indeed. Others were more tricky, like finally settling with Urd = Willow (decided for the recklessness and light/dark ambivalence in both characters).

As you said many plans of the Buffyverse's factions are now shot down in flames and they will have to react. How exactly remains to be seen.

Review:
huh.....im glad joyce is gonna be in charge! are will and xand gonna have good powers to? and whats witht he marks?
Comments from author:
On Will and Xand: more in the next chapter

On the marks: in Ah! My Goddess! all gods and demons have them (the color is not clearly fixed in the manga, but the anime is clear on blue = god, red = demon). They contain information on their domain of predilection and are part of the link gods have to Yggdrasil and demons to Nidhogg (in AMG, both are technomagical supercomputers which, among other things, act as magical power sources)
