I like this followup series and the original series that preceeded it.
One thing that I found hard was remembering exactly was exactly what the crossover was for each chapter --- I'd have to bring up the original series, find the chapter and re-read it.
You might want to consider any of the following: * listing the crossover at the top of each chapter, * listing the crossover for the previous chapter (ie: what you did in the original) * including a summary of the original chapter * just including the original chapter

Niiice. I kinda want to know which series though. Xander might be a Coordinator, which would explain the hacking. Gundam can be such a broad term, so it could be anything from RX-78 to Psycho Mk3.
