Great start. I can't wait to read more. Maybe as a companion Lady Buffy won't be so totally useless. I mean, the Doctor has had some really kick-butt companions so why couldn't Buffy be one of them?

Tut tut, did you forget his Yale key? That was interesting as far as build ups go, so he's using 10's screwdriver? I'd have used the future one that River Song had. Anyway the build ups been done before and it all comes across kinda samey wamey, unless there's something important that's supposed to happen, like Xander regenerating, or leaving in the TARDIS, since the Doctor can summon it across dimensions using the Yale key and a foo foo battery. So I'll wait patiently, fingers crossed.

Nice idea. I love the Doctor, can't wait till the new season starts up. Though the current one is my favorite. And is so far trying to take a stand as the longest lasting Doctor. At any rate, update soon. Can't wait to see what happens next.
PS: Buffy as his foil? Interesting. It is as a general rule that all his parkners fall in love with him.

A future regeneration of The Doctor on the Hellmouth. And Ethan Rayne as a fan and possible companion. I can see that, since this incarnation of The Doctor looks to be a cross between The Fourth and Ninth, with a bit of Ten thrown into the mix. And we all know that wherever The Doctor goes, Chaos follows....

Excellent title, and the dynamic between Xander and Ethan is wonderful. There's always room to play with the Doctor, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've got planned. I'd honestly love to see Ethan stick around as a bit of a scofflaw companion like Leela (though more causing trouble with magic than Leela's violent tendencies). I think it'd be a lot of fun. Anyhow, nice start.
