According to the internet, Cogburn wielded a Winchester 1892 rifle and a Colt 1873 SAA revolver (probably in in .44-40 WCF caliber). If the prop gun turns real, Xander will need to be careful when he gets more ammo. I'm not sure if the revolver could handle modern ammo.

I haven't laughed so hard while reading a story in a loooong time. This is so wonderfully insane and I can't wait to read more. But poor Xander is so far up s**t creek I'm not sure a medivac bird could get him out. At least I hope Rooster dusted Angel with a magic bullet from his magic revolver.

Well you surprised me. Never thought Rooster J. would be used like this. I like it. Hopefully Angel will recover. Hate to see him gone, even though this is a Xander fic and he hates Angel.

Hah hah! Angel getting a slug in the brainpan is just so perfect! Especially since about that point, my opinion of him wasn't any better than Xander's (though he did change a lot once he moved down to LA).
