So, it was a trick question. Anyhow, an interesting grouping of ideas. Alternate Xander just needs to know that not all Deamons are evil - that changes things from the start - but he also can have a grouping of "upgrades," if he's willing to not be a passive participant in the fight. Perhaps he can be an avatar of Hermes and have the ability to make holy water, be good at communication and move fast. He might still need to study martial arts on his own but he'd be able to apply speed.

Yep, almost everything the Scoobies say is different from what normal people think it is. ;-)

And any changes that Xander's visiting doppelganger can make is almost certainly going to help improve all of the Scoobies' future situations when considering where his visitor came from. ;-(

And you'll see what the various 'upgrades' being offered are going to require in the next few chapters.

keeping in character with xander i think he'd either choose something like a warlock or multi-class the three. . . . . or he'd cheat, in real life there isn't cheating only power levelers and survival

And Xander has always been motivated to keep his loved ones safe.

And we take a 6 sided die - 1/4 Warrior, 2/5 Rogue and 3/6 Wizard and we roll... oops, hit the floor. And we roll, 5 ... What are the odds on that.

I think it's funny that everyone's taking the D&D rules to heart. Clerics can use maces and Rogues can climb walls. LOL.

The rogues I've been considering are a lot more multi-skilled. ;-)

Well, he could go Paladin... No, Xander is too sneaky for that. Cleric is better than the wizard choice.

Xander most definitely isn't lawful good, since i don't see him as having any compunctions about taking out someone he considers a threat to his loved ones without any warning at all.

A quick knife in the back, or across the throat, and the problem is solved! ;-)

the obvious answer is, of course, a druid. because druids have individual abilities more powerful than entire classes!

On the good side, your mind spawn a "plethora" of delicius plot bunnies and I LOVE plot bunnies!
On the other side I hate the fact that most of those plot bunnies are left withering and die.
