Review of chapter "From Bad to Worse" from Rich
Review:
I'm jealous that I didn't think of this first. But you left out the best part:

"Maidens of St Trinian's, gird your armour on.
Grab the nearest weapon; never mind which one.
The battle's to the strongest; might is always right.
Trample on the weakest; glory in their plight.

St Trinian's! St Trinian's! Our battle cry.
St Trinian's! St Trinian's! Will never die.

Stride towards your fortune boldly on your way,
Never once forgetting there's one born every day.
Let our motto be broadcast: "get your blow in first!"
She who draws the sword last always comes off worst."

NOW it's perfect.

I quoted it in Deeds of Maidenly Unkindness, don't like to repeat myself.

Never knew about St. Trinian's, but the girls there sound ready to rock and roll! How will they do alongside Terminators and Mobile Infantry? Will they get posted to the Warren front or to Berlin? *snicker snicker*
Comments from author:
Wherever they can find the most loot, I suspect.

Had to look it up, that's one crazy place.
Comments from author:
The films are fun, especially the earlier ones. The books and cartoons add a LOT more blood and violence.

A certain band from the future with a snickering cat to entertain the troops maybe.
Comments from author:
Could be worse. If General Hammond made a comment about needing a babysitter to take care of O'Neill, he could have ended up with one or both of a pair of famous English Nannies: Mary Poppins and Nanny McPhee

Review of chapter "Beware The Bureaucrat’s Revenge" from Rich
Review:
Given the many possible uses of the Portable Hole, the Acme Corporation might actually earn whatever amount of money they end up recieving - especially since they probably won't be able to spend it in their dimension anyway. Maybe we could pay them in Monopoly money ?

Like most of your contributions, this one is sort of quietly hilarious, which is probably an oxymoron but is still true. An excellent addition.

As always, Awesome Manchester!!!

I was kinda hoping that ACME was going to be a kick-butt acronym... but if you're using that movie, then it makes sense =D

Now we just need Elmer Fudd and Wabbit Demons ;)

Lovely! I think it's a bad sign that I recognized this as soon as I saw his name was Marvin. You and I think far too much alike for comfort, or at least have similar reference pools. :-)

And it's a sad day when people don't know Raymond Scott's classic tune "Powerhouse" which has been used in cartoons for so long that it has just become 'that music you always use for assembly lines in cartoons'.

This is one group that Mark is very happy to see going to the war. They know what its like to fight, and they know how to take care of business. Welcome to the Hellmouth Madam. May you and your soldiers find the glory in battle that you have been looking for.

Review of chapter "An Old Memory and an Odd Interview" from DarthTenebrus
Review:
For once, not so comedic as with previous entries, so it's a fresh perspective for Mark Brainerd...

Well done...but one wonders if perhaps Mark's job is starting to outlive its usefulness? Hate to see him get sent up to one of the fronts in this campaign ...maybe someone could take pity on him and give him a more fulfilling and thankful job in ISWC or the SGC.
Comments from author:
Depends on POV. I suspect Coyote thought it was funny as hell.

Review of chapter "An Old Memory and an Odd Interview" from cwolf
Review:
Worse. My mind made a random connection to one of my one-shot crossovers in Red Witch's misfitverse on ff.net. One of the characters sees a coyote, but he had some genetic modifying drugs put into him and thinks it's a figment. And that he's nuts.. In a couple of my one shot adds to the series, the Coyote was seen by the Buffyverse, and the SG1 universe. In both cases, he annoyed the crap out of the bad guys. Well, in Sg1's case anyway. He freaked out the mini-slayers in the Buffyverse, and the character chased him all over town. Lance Alvers destroyed a building in sunlight which just happened to house vampires as he chased his figment/turned out to be real
Comments from author:
I think he's planning to annoy the bad guys in this one too,

Why oh why do I think Coyote had something to do with that razor slipping from Mark's grip...

Or maybe he planted the 'need' to shave in Mark's mind in the first place... Yeah, that would be the trickster's style...
Comments from author:
Who knows what goes through he mind of the trickster ? Not me, for sure...maybe not even him.
