I've been re-reading your story and I thought of how Ronald D. Moore could have got the idea for his version of Battlestar Galactica in the SC&TTL universe. When our protagonists got changed or drug through time and space a certain technical adviser got snagged and wound up in contact with Mr. Moore and is working with him as an adviser on the Colonies, the Colonial Fleet, and yes even the Cylons. Now this adviser could be Gaius Baltar, Kara Thrace, Leland Joseph Adama (call him Adams or Addams in the Credits), William Adama (again change last name to Adams or Addams), John Cavil, Leoben Conoy, Saul Tigh, Ellen Tigh, Samuel Anders, Simon O'Neill, Shelly Godfrey, Tory Foster, Cally Henderson-Tyrol, Galen Tyrol, D'Anna Biers, Laura Roslin, or anyone from the series you want to use. I think Gaius Baltar would be the best. He could have even recruited the actors who most resembled the people from his past.

Review of chapter "13. Repercussions foreign and domestic" from BlueEyedJedi
Review:
Ouch, Travers is going to be spanked. Good narritive, the conflict between the various groups. Willow wants Old Xander. Athena & Dawn Want Helo. Xander wants to make them all happy. Cordelia 6 wants control. The Centurions want freedom from slavery. (They might empathisize with the Jaffa.) SG1 wants a powerful ally. Daniel wants the knowledge of the new. Who will get what they want? Will there be answers in the new chapters?

I don't know why,
but I'll try.

This is a very interesting yarn,
but there's a potential for future harm.

Geeze, why oh why,
did I even try?

Review:
I am currently reading responses to the 'Ship of the Line' Challenge and I find your work really impressive so far. You've done a really good job at not making it too easy for the Scoobies while as the same time given them a nice upgrade. And the addition of Sharon, with Dawn and Faith as their children, is a nice touch.
Cordelia as the business shark is scary, but oh so good! The mesh of Cordelia-Six is really my favorite. The SGC speculations are also quite entertaining. And the little hint of other possible Cylons/Colonials out there is both exciting and worrying.

There is just a little something that I don't understand. In the last chapter you have the USAF general say they are getting 2 Viper mark 7, but you have Jono only working on a blend of Mark 2 and 5. It doesn't really seem logical to me to give a better ship that what you plan to produce. Isn't it counter-productive to keep the edge? Though they do want the Earth protected so maybe it's a small sacrifice in their mind.

Well keep up the good work and Update soon, please!!

I just thought of something; I'm too sure how your alternate history for the Colonials and Cylons went, but I think it's about time Leoben or one of the others show up.
Comments from author:
They are coming, I've been holding off on them because their arrival takes contact with the Asgard. Even then they're going to start off in a form thats a bit weird. :D

Review:
Delighted to see another chapter to this story.

I really like how Cordelia reacted to the threat to the Centurions. It highlights how she sees them as 'people' not machines. Comparing Zabuto to the Colonials was a great touch.

Review:
The thing with the lower-tech computers was that the Colonials deliberately downgraded their computer systems to the lowest workable tech and upped the countermeasures to an extreme to avoid Cylon "phishing" or hack subversions of their systems.
Comments from author:
True, but you have to consider who is here. Everyone in this fic from the nBSG verse who is colonial is from the military or they're a Cylon. All of their computers are Colonial military, or Cylon. A lot of what i'm doing is informed by that limitation... as for the size of the proposed computer, well it would have to devote a full half or more of its power to keeping the Cylons out because it was that important. At least that's where my head is...

Review of chapter "18. High Tech isn’t an instant win button." from michaelangelo
Review:
Call me bonkers but can't the colonials and Cylons develop a jump capable nuke instead of the more risky Viper bomber to bypass shields? they could jump the things directly from the flight bay, it's like Andrew mentioned it's like they thought 'rockets work' and didn't even think of creating better delivery methods.

I bet Sam Zabuto isn't going to win any popularity contests with the Cylons now, if the Vamps are smart enough to use guns it's only a small step up to armor piercing rounds, grenades and rockets. I'm more surprised the Cylons agreed to do it in the first place, they should follow what the Roman Centurians did and develop some high tech metal Roman style shields.
