This is so beyond awesome I can't even begin to describe it! Please write more in this 'verse, even if it's only a Drabble or two, because that was something I would love to read more of. Please.

Chillingly believable and poignant . . . including Steve's ability to understand Tony's side of things, but still not join him with the rest of the 'loose cannon' team when Fury 'breaks up the band' by letting his fear of Tony's power overcome his trust of the man himself.

Very compelling picture of Dom from not-really-Brian's immortal point of view.

This works really well with the original movie, though it pretty much precludes much of what happens with Brian and Dom in "Fast Five", especially. :)

I really need to watch the Avengers movie. LOL But I quite enjoyed this regardless. Nice to see Buffy making a new friend who seems to understand more fully than anyone before (aside from Faith, of course).

Oh man...I need this to be a multi-chaptered (like 10-20 of 'em) story so bad. I just love this 'verse. And Buffy/Erik/Charles just works for me.

All I could think was "Poor Steve!". Poor Martha too, but since it was from Steve's POV, more poor him.

I don't have the words to tell you how much I love this, and how much I wish Erik's astringent lemon juice and Charles' smooth salad oil could have been brought together permanently with the emulsifying effect of Buffy's golden egg yolk to make a rich, creamy, STABLE mayonnaise! :)

[My brain was permanently warped, I'm afraid, by Alton Brown's explanation of what a phospholipid does in uniting water-based and fat-based molecules on an episode of "Good Eats" devoted to mayonnaise. Ever since then, 'emulsion' has been my fall-back metaphor for a threesome that works where a twosome doesn't! :) ]

Ice cream instead of shawarma? Oh, yes! This friendship between Buffy and Natasha, and the inclusion of the rest of the Avengers in its orbit, hits just the right spot, like ice cream sundaes at the 'wrong' time of day. Very comforting!

I can't imagine anyone who could come closer to 'getting' what Steve is going through at that moment than Martha Jones, after the year that wasn't and her departure from the Doctor. Excellent work!

I absolutely loved this; the interaction between Buffy and Natasha, along with their silent understandings? Totally fits their characterizations and ust makes it so believable!

I like all of the one-shots so far, but of them all, at this point, THIS one is my favorite. The interaction between Buffy and Natasha is just poignantly perfect. Well done.

Thoroughly interesting. Would love to see more of this if the muse strikes.
