I believe Amy has made a big mistake - the Chinese will get involved, and the Chinese slayer really seems on the ball; and together her and Riley have quite a lot of clout - with military and intelligence services. Her method to attempt to kill Riley lacks subtlety, and was using a sledgehammer to kill a mouse (in relative terms of the forces brought to bear to try to kill one man), and attracts attention to her from the above mentioned powerful mil/int forces.
Comments from author:
Also REALLY remote area so its going to take a while for 'whoever' to work out what's gone wrong. Amy has a window of opportunity, not a very big one but its there.
Cheers, D.

And... nobody really knows anything about Faith's past, other than she was from Boston. Hm, if this 'change' goes through, please please have her turn into the kid Eliza D. played in the film "True Lies". Instant parents. heh, with lots of extra problems attached. I have to say, this is the worst idea Willow's ever had. I'm sure she'll go through with it too. Gee, Xander really has fallen down the supervillain hole. Apparently wants to monolog at Buffy after his revenge is done. Wow.
Comments from author:
But of course...which can mean just about anything!

Well, I'm a little sorry to see that you didn't have Xander learn from his mstakes [really, the monster-girl thing was very early, not late season], but the series as a whole is particularly good. Thanks for writing these!
Comments from author:
Well, Anya was a demon and there was that demon girl in season 7. I felt it was something that would follow him for the rest of his life unless he got away from hellmouths.
Huh. I wonder if Shi. knows his wife is a slayer, even "the" slayer... not important. Wow, the Knights have taken heavy casualties and so far have nothing. They never were all that competent. Riley should definitely stay behind a desk, he's too high ranking to be doing this sort of thing anymore. And Xander hasn't even struck yet...probably. It's kind of weird that neither Buffy nor Willow even know that he's now "out" of the council. Maybe Giles didn't have the heart to tell them?
Comments from author:
Maybe, people employed by the K of B to do their dirty work.
I agree that Riley should stay behind his desk but being a combat soldier at heart he probably jumped at the chance for one last hurrah!
Cheers, D.

I don't really think that Amy or the Knights wanted to to provoke the ire of the Chinese army. They messed it up biig time. Cool chapter, see ya!.
Comments from author:
Not even the Chinese army can be everywhere.
I looked this area up on Google maps before I wrote this piece, the area ids very much as I discribe it although all the names are changed and there aren't actually any villages. Its so remote that no ones sure where the international borders are!

Standard portrayal of a communist, eh? Last Chinese guy joked about it, but not by repeating that propaganda stuff, just mentioning the problems. But maybe thats because of his job (prof. at uni.).
About the description of "black burning disc" - at first I thought "UFOs" but now I'm more like "portals". A bit confusion there.
I also semi-hoped that Riley would die, because I don't like the jerk. But I don't think you would listen to me if I were to say "make it info Fuffy fic".
Comments from author:
Yep portals.
Oh come on Riley wasn't all bad...well maybe he was but it does mean you have to go some to make him worse than he was!
And who else would put up with Buffy, they're made for each other!
Cheers, D.

Well, at least he survived for now. So the Chinese Slayers are part of the Chinese armed forces? Even the ethnic ones? And how do the US feel about thatm, I wonder...
Thanks for writing.
Comments from author:
I couldn't imagine the Chinese organising their slayers any other way, so I ran with it.
Cheers, D.
