Review of chapter "Fourteen Gazillion To Go" from lucyferr
Review:
Still hoping to read a fic where a vengeance demon curses Kinsey to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth :-) But for now, boils do nicely.

Review of chapter "Twelve Little Monkeys Hoppin on the Bed" from lucyferr
Review:
How could Buffy not know it was an election year? It was impossible to ignore with all the news and ads and bumper stickers everywhere, even for him and he wasn’t even on the planet most of the time.
“No, the election. That’s the second one I’ve missed,” she whined. “That’s so not fair! I’ve got rights to exercise here, but noooo, too late! They’re gonna get out of shape and flabby and then where will I be? Stupid country,” she grumbled.

lol @ election humor

Review of chapter "First Meeting" from shdwslayer
Review:
Wow, I know absolutely nothing about stargate, but I found myself compelled to read this. Great first chapter, pulled me in. Just wanted to stop by and leave a review, I'm really bad at reading and not leaving any, looking forward to reading the rest.

Review of chapter "First Meeting" from purrfus
Review:
I've been thinking about re-reading this for a while. Today I needed something to counter balance the mountain of laundry I need to get through so it seemed like the perfect time.

After just the first chapter I'm sure that rewarding myself this way will make the drudgery much easier to live with.

Improves upon rereading. And inspires me with the fic I'm writing, because I like your version of Xander so much. One of the best crossover fics ever. Keep on writing!

Heh, great line.

Thor was cool and I'm glad he likes Xander.

I'm impressed that you used 'Bridges' as a metaphor, saying the chasm had opened between them and the boards had crumbed away at their feet, without actually using the word 'Bridges' :D Fun stuff.

Well, yeah Xander was worried about a demon killing Garfield the cat with a Wish. Unlikely as hell that anybody would wish vengeance against a comic strip, but if... Cool :)

I'm happy, with all the awards and stuff, that you're getting proper recognition for your excellent work. Thanks for putting so much time into it.

Review of chapter "Sixteen Happier Endings" from MarcusSLazarus
Review:
Intriguing concept, I have to admit.

I’ve always had a thing for stories which make use of intriguing family bonds between characters from different continuities, and this one really worked out rather well; after all, when you get down to it, Jack and Xander DO look rather alike, to say nothing of their shared sense of humour when faced with the various ‘above-human’ dangers (Only term I could think of encompassing aliens and demons) they have to face on a regular basis...

Hell, even their attitude towards authority is similar; you need to let them grow on you and show you DESERVE their respect before they’ll give you any.

The character bonding moments between the Scoobies and the SGC team were very well-written, ranging from Jack facing threats of mutilation or death from the Scoobies if he hurts Xander, to Willow and Sam ‘drooling over code’ (As Jack put it), to Willow feeling strongly tempted to kill the Vice-President just because she found out he tried to have Xander abducted)

Of course, I think the part where the NID tried to abduct Xander and ended up failing miserably was one of my favourite bits of the story; after spending so long seeing those characters always staying one step ahead of the SGC, there’s something very satisfying about seeing their plans get so utterly derailed by a bunch of ‘civilians’ that even THEY don’t know what’s happened until it’s too late (The fact that Kinsey had his aide drop in without even making sure things had worked out the way he’d planned only further underlines the git’s main problem; he’s too arrogant to REALLY be a threat because he’s so certain he’s right he always takes a long time to cope when he’s proven wrong).

However, in the end, the final decision about what the Scoobies would do to deal with Senator Kinsey- as well as the events leading up to it- was easily my favourite part; SG-1’s reactions to meeting D’Hoffryn were particularly well-written- especially the part where Jack reflected on how SG-1’s villains have never offered them Christmas off to encourage them to switch sides, although Teal’c’s comments about them becoming patron demons of intergalactic victims making them “that much... more intimidating” also had its amusing side-, and the final result of their wish for vengeance on Kinsey was EXACTLY what the guy deserved without making it obvious that anything magical had been responsible for it.

(To say nothing of the conversation between the Scoobies and SG-1 as Buffy and Xander assumed that ‘Garfield’ was referring to the CAT rather than the PRESIDENT; I was laughing my HEAD off when I read that part of the chapter!)

Plus, of course, the final chapter with Thor showing up to help Jack and then just teleporting Xander up to meet him was definitely an amusing-yet-somewhat-touching piece of work; not only does Xander come face-to-face with one of the SGC’s greatest alien allies- with Thor just as interested to meet him as he is to meet Thor-, but, on a personal note, Xander FINALLY starts to call Jack ‘Dad’.

It’s out of nowhere, it’s foreshadowed by nothing, and nobody asked him to start doing it; Xander just inserted ‘Dad’ to the conversation, and that was it.

Keep up the good work!

Review of chapter "Sixteen Happier Endings" from CrimsonQuills
Review:
This was a fascinating and enjoyable story. I liked seeing how juxtaposing Jack and Xander let you see both of them in a somewhat different light. I haven't seen the later seasons of either show, so unfortunately I can't comment in too much depth, but I really liked the story and found it engaging despite my lack of canon knowledge.

Thank you for sharing!
