Now I'm all aflutter in anticipation of the next chapter and Angelus and Mrs. Rosenberg's extended conversation and play date. Will the lady attempt to convince Angelus of the irrationality of his actions. Will the blood flow gently down lily white skin or gush in rivers?
Comments from author:
I suspect that she'll try to convince him... and fail painfully (evil grin with many teeth)
Why would the whole thing happen the same way, or quickly? That would end the fun too quickly...

A very interesting series... Well written and entertaining; Angelus's interests in Willow and now Dru's interest in a "little sister" make this very entertaining. I really enjoyed the scene with the three of them discussing Wuthering Heights, like a "vampy" book club of sorts. I really enjoy Willow's willingness to go along with having a "vampy" group of friends while still questioning her sanity in it; I find it very plausible considering how often she is left by the wayside by her "human" companions... Looking forward to more!
Thanks for posting!

Thank you.
Angelus isn't quite certain what to think of his friendship with Willow, and I'm not certain that it will stay as well-intentioned as Angel's friendship had been. As for Dru... even if she means well, she can be quite dangerous.
Early Willow was occasionally quite desperate for friends, and not always as careful as she should have been - 'Malcolm'(Moloch), Anya and her efforts to retrieve her necklace, Amy...
Thank you for reading.

A very interesting series.... Well written; I find Angel's interest in Willow and now Dru's interest in a 'little sister' very entertaining. And I very much enjoy Willow's reactions and willingness to engage in this activity while still somewhat questioning her sanity for engaging in it. I find it a nice slice of what Willow might experience in the case of a true 'vampy' friend. I look forward to more in the future.
Thanks for posting it!

"But my copy had a hard cover, and had been wrapped in green cloth."
That was awesome :) Discussing English Lit. w/Drusilla!
I am thoroughly enjoying Dark Coffee... and I liked Thoughts & Coffee too (because I had to back and read it...)
I look forward to reading more.
Comments from author:
Well, the actual appearance of books has changed a little bit in the past few centuries. And Willow thought that discussing the book might be a relatively safe topic - no mention of Slayers, of their various friends who don't get along, or personal emotions.
I am delighted that you enjoyed Coffee & Thoughts and that you're enjoying Dark Coffee as well. Hopefully I'll be able to update this one sooner.
Hurray! You're on a roll. I love the update and Willow reacting to Angelus and Drucilla is perfect. It changes everything for Angelus to be Willow's friend. He should be much less violent. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Thank you.
You're right, this will change some things. Perhaps not so much 'less violent' as more specifically directed violence.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I love the Willow/Dru interaction. Dru is such an interesting and complex character but you seemed to have captured her so well.

You are very welcome!
I love Dru - in the she's a blast to write sort of way. I'd be terrified if not dead if I actually met her, but she's so much fun to write.

I'm glad to see an update, reminded me to put this on my tracked stories (I first read it before I figured out tracking). Was nice to reread it in its entirety.

You are welcome. This one was being stubborn and not cooperating.

Angelus is going to have to table all his plans to hurt Buffy unless he wants Willow to find out he's changed. Of course if he tells her first, then he can play alittle. I love the image of Dru and Willow having a sleep over. I can just see it. Yay another chapter.
