Review of chapter "Through the Eyes of an Angry Friend" from HebiR
Review:
Thank you! I am a Wesley fan myself, but since you did not kill him...well, good for Willow. The man does need a sharp kick in the hindquarters, though, so it is too bad Willow could not leave him with the memory but keep him from talking. On the other hand, considering the Council's reaction to Faith kkilling, by accident, a man who approched her during a fight, I do not think their reaction to a Slayer that lives with a vampire and an almost-vampire and dates a werewolf would be pretty. Er, not that many of them seem to be pretty in the first place.

I wonder, though, what effect Willow's blood drinking is having on her rate of transformation. I mean, she won't go all the way, to the point of undeath and no going back ever until she kills, I get that, but I wonder if she will be closer to the vampire side than most half vampires since she is feeding. I also wonder if a stronger half-vampire becomes a stronger than usual vampire once they complete the trandformation.

Still looking forward to Buffy's face when she encounters a vampire that can fly. I suspect their will be poting at the "unfairness."
Comments from author:
I consider Wesley as someone who (yet again) had potential that was not well developed on BtVS (AtS did a little more with/for him). S3 Wesley needed quite a lot... a sharp kick might have been a place to start.

The Council did not have reactions that go well with the normal perceptions of society. I really doubt that they'd approve of what's going on at the Rosenberg house.

We shall have to see what sort of effect there might have been from Willow's efforts - and do remember that a) she's not very practiced with this and b) that was hardly a careful effort.

She's certainly getting a lot of the training as if she were a vampire. Between that and the proper vampire nutrition, I'm sure that she'll end up a bit more dangerous than the average (is there such a thing) half-vampire. And she has such unusual allies...

"B-b-but that's not supposed to be possible! Giles never told me that there were flying vampires! I'm pretty sure I was told that they couldn't... How come he can fly? Angel can't fly...

"You can't, can you, Angel?" pause to give suspicious glare/pout "Did you know that there were flying vampires?"

"How come nobody ever tells me this things?"

WOW glad to see you back with us writing. I really loved that, Willow having to control HER temper to Not kill Wes. I really do wonder though if Wes is Trying to start the Cruci for Faith or if he just STILL doesn't know HOW to teach the right way. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Comments from author:
I didn't go away, I was just having troubles working with this one. My current WiP list is rather long... Having just counted, there are 28 various projects that are currently in progress and being posted - as opposed to in progress on my hard drive and never shared with others (I keep meaning to make the list shrink - finish two before starting one.) There are a group of series-es such as Through the Eyes, Muppet Contracts and Pale Serpents and the longer stories such as Counts of Blood, A Prince Among Toads and Dark Fall. There are crossovers and non-crossovers and some projects that I haven't made any substantial progress on in a rather appalling amount of time.

This Willow has picked up an edge - both to her teeth and to her temper.

As for Wesley... yes. But I'm not specifying 'yes' to what just now beyond 'my goodness he can be annoying!'

Hopefully the next chapter will be a bit quicker.

ROTFLMAO, poor Wesley- NOT. And wow blast from the bloody past with this update, I had nearly given up on you. :))
Comments from author:
Real Life and too many WiP's.

Sometimes someone showing up and being all obnoxious and failing at their duties comes back to hurt them. I guess Wesley didn't get that memo.

Through the eyes of the reader,LOL. This was a lovely read I don't think I've read a Willow/David pairing that I have enjoyed as much. And oooh how you bring to light all the faults of the Scoobies. I guess the Xan man is completely out of the picture though huh. Can't wait for the next update will be tracking this.

Thank you Lucinda! I think I love this chapter!!! (I would say I think I love you, but I don't go that way. LOL) I am so glad you wrote another chapter and am trying to patiently wait for the next..
Demon porn...Snicker Snicker
Comments from author:
Big smile - the sentiment is appreciated.

I'm glad that you enjoyed, and I'm hoping that teasing out that little chapter will help me write up a bigger one.

You have heard the saying that for everything in the world, there's porn of it, right? Wouldn't that extend to demons?

how... embarrassing for a Watcher to be caught with such materials. There IS such a thing as taking your work too far...

Oh yes, it just appeared on your computer one day? How fascinating. A likely excuse...

Will there be more? Nice to see Faith and Willow getting on
Comments from author:
This one is still a work in progress, to be updated as inspiration & scheduling permits. Unfortunately, college & housework have been taking a big chunk of time, leaving very little for fic-writing...

I wanted something different from all the stories where Faith and Willow can't possibly ever get along because Willow was Buffy's friend (first).

Your a horrible horrible person. How could you leave me like this? Come back I want to know what happens next.
Comments from author:
Should I interpret that to mean 'I really like this story and want to know what happens next! When will this be updated?!?'?

I have too many WiP's - I believe my list is at 28 stories that are in progress and being posted, with probably another half a dozen to a dozen that I'd like to come back to at some point. This is complicated by the fact that I have other demands on my time - a full time college class load, two children, and my husband just had surgery. And there's also the never-ending housekeeping...

I fully intend to complete this story (and the others), but they don't always cooperate. Sometimes I can write forth and update a story twice in a week, and other times there are months between updates as the characters refuse to cooperate, the words fall flat, the plot drags, and the overall quality is just... not acceptable to me. I prefer to wait longer to update with something good, rather than put out something that in a few months will make me cringe.

This story isn't forgotten/abandoned to wither and fade away. I intend to finish it, and the last one will not only say end story but end series so there isn't lingering confusion.

It's just not there yet.

Strawberries and blood for breakfast. I might say yum, but I'm allergic to strawberries.

Can't wait to find out how the cohab works out.
Comments from author:
Not everyone has the same idea of what makes a good breakfast. Personally, I'm not much for a solid breakfast either.

As for the cohabitation... Willow, the only person who was actually supposed to be there. Her vampire boyfriend David, who is also much older. Faith the Vampire Slayer, who is now dating Willow's ex boyfriend the werewolf, is an almost friendly rival to Willow's maybe-former-friend Buffy the Vampire Slayer in love with a vampire...

I don't think it will be calm and trouble-free.

Review:
Wonderful story. Nice to see the Willow focus maintained, and the developing relationship with Faith (as much as I usually like Xander I'm glad you are keeping him to a minimum). Great point about being out of hell a bigger happiness moment than sex. I not sure about Max as good character reference though. More please.
