Haunting...

VERY interesting and also very cruel to your readers, deliberately making this a one shot story. *g* You've got me very curious about what Xander will do, how he's going to react. We all know Xander can't stay out of a situation if he can help.

How did Sam get clearance for this when there cannot be background info on her husband that would withstand that level of government scrutiny?

Will Sam fall for O'Niell in this universe? That would kill Xander, wouldn't it? *sad look* Oh dear!

*stifling a scream* Now I wanna know what comes next! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease do another?

What an interesting premise and something all of us have wondered about, I guess: what if we popped into one of the book- or movieverses we know?
You manage to make Xander both mature and still keep him in character. I would love to read more about how it turns out. Simply telling Sam seems too ... simple. Hopefully you'll continue this.

Wonderful. Xander's more mature, quiet and instrospective nature fits the situation perfectly. Better yet, even in this short story you made me actually *believe* they could be a couple and want them to stay that way. Having someone like Xander at home is exactly what Sam needs.

Tell her, she'll understand and maybe Xander can do things to make life better for the team.
