I loved your story. It was it was a good storyline and well thought out plot. I do have one issue. Overall, you did a good job portraying a Marine but it's almost impossible to make Gunny before 11 or 12 years and no Gunny would ever be taken to being referred to a a Sergeant well. Even by a General. Army and Air Force you could get away with it, But not the Marines.

Hey some people have Xander as a full Colonel at the age he is in these stories! I needed him to be in charge of a team, and hell, the cannon SG-1 was commanded by a Lt Colonel in his fourties. Since when did anyone that age and/or rank get risked carrying a rife at the sharp end?
I'm aware he's young to be a gunnery sergeant, but I only found that out after posting the part 1 of the origingal Dual Employment (I live at the other end of the planet and have never met a Marine, US or other) where I had him referred to as 'Gunny' repeatedly. Foreign postings is a set of back stories trying to explain how he got promoted so fast.
You did a phenomenal job of this fanfic, I'm looking forward to reading the quasi-sequel: Foreign Posting. It would be great to read more in the same vein as this story, and the way you avoid getting bogged down in details makes it a nice light read.

Oh shoot! I really hope this isn't the end of your wonderful series. I haven't been able to read a chapter of this insanity of yours without having to stop and get my laughing under control. This whole series was so logical and yet so warped I loved each and every update. Thank you for the ribtickling fun.

Interesting ending. Maybe I missed something in the last chapter, but making the Goa'uld extinct would wipe out the Jaffa. They're dependent on them. Even Tretonin is ground Goa'uld, so while they might have enough to temporarily make more tretonin no more Gou'ald means they would likely run out before they could find a way to permanently fix the problem.

Very amusing and I like how things work with your version of Xander. Nice to see a Xander-fic that doesn't do any real buffy-bashing - even though she's apparently a minor character here it's nice that she gets some funny bits also.
