Good story so far, the hard parts of making Xander not have a normal life is attractive plot device. I also like that Buffy and Xander are getting closer BEFORE the release of Angelus most fics so hard up on following canon plot they won't let Buffy think of anyone else before she sleeps with the dead boy least once just to let Angelus free.
I am a little disappointed on the Drusilla front, she seems to win everything, get everything and basically have no issues. She's just an insane vampire of some skill yet she's totally unstoppable thus far even with stupid minions like Ford. Just happening to capture Kendra after a hard fight with Buffy tops that off. Not mention it seemed like going out their way to be helpless in this fic, how many fights it been now where neither Buffy nor Xander had a weapon despite being out in graveyard middle the night?
Over all this is a great story so far but the 'author's protection' of the bad guys in this fic is a bit heavy. Making normally weak and normal villains unbeatable and always able to either win or escape till the finale is always annoying.
Great Story! You seem to have a real talent for romantic storylines. You even had me rooting for Cordelia right throughout this story. I like how you take the time to develop the relationships and don't drop them on us fully formed. Can't wait to read your other stories! Keep up the good work.

Freaking awesome story, above and beyond what you would expect from a Halloween fic. I love how you showed that Janus + Hellmouth /= good transformations for Xander, which is more believable then some of the good transformations he gets. I also very much enjoyed how you answered the Faith part of the challenge, and how Cordy killed Angelus. 'Go poof now' indeed.

Did not red this initially because I am alittle tired of super Xander stories but when it won a crossing over award I thoough I'd check it out and am now glad I did. Good stuff

That was a suprisingly er... suprising?.. ah! unexpected, there's the word, crossover. Bravo! I completely enjoyed the play of emotions and relationships that you brought into this fic, and I quite honestly couldn't stop reading (and was late for obligations quite a few times because of it). Holy. Flipping. Hell. That was AMAZING! Without a doubt one of my favorite stories on here. Also one of the most unique I've read in a long time.
The end was bitter-sweet for me; really satisfying ending (the big rescue and then the decapitation of a helpless 'Quick-Toast' were perfect), but then that also means it's over!
Can't wait to read more of your stuff (I'm already on the first chapter of Slay Hard).

Very well written, very good story. Xander-centered stories not my usual cup of tea, but this one was quite enjoyable.
Very glad you not only turned him into an actual Gargoyle (with all their strengths and weaknesses), but that you didn't use a crutch like magic to allow him to turn into a human vis-a-vis Demona/Dominique. I think that really added to the story...a lot. Forcing everyone (and himself) to deal with him in that situation is MUCH more interesting.
