Review of chapter "Walk Away" from raven
Review:
As disappointing as it is, I have to agree that if this is set during Oceans 12 his character would have to leave. (When you see the movie you will understand this a bit better as it is part of the plot.) However, I could easily see him having a "business trip" to cover the time of the movie and then come back. Or simply run across her again in the near future. That said, there is a bit of a tug that once again a man left her in bed after sleeping together for the first time. Enough to give a girl a complex.

"That's a most interesting dilemma you've got for yourself. How's it coming this evening? Are you finding a satisfying conclusion?"-Was it just me, or could anyone else hear the lilt at the end of this line in their head?

Wonderful installment, as usual. "It was like nothing else mattered but her. She was everything he'd always said he'd look for when he was finally ready to settle down, though he would never admit that out loud. She thrilled him, made him laugh, and ... damn was she beautiful. " Don't quite see the appeal of SMG myself, but any woman hopes to be seen like this. Can't wait for the next story!

That cracked me up. :)

Thank you, as always. Am working on the next story, though it's slow-going. Real life is kinda getting in the way. But, I will update as soon as possible.

I absolutely adore this series of fics. I love how Buffy and Rusty just click, the sparks, the laughter, the passion...fabulous. I also love that she fits in so well with his friends, that the crew like her. Hate that he left her the way he did. It seems totally in character to me, I also haven't seen Ocean's 12. It makes sense that he'd focus on the job and the crew of friends/associates he's known much longer than Buffy. I just hate it for Buffy. I hate that everything was going so beautifully for her and then wham! he's gone out of nowhere. How much would it suck to wake up alone, again? I loved his note...and I'm dying for them to meet again. Great job, btw, of portraying both Buffy and Rusty's thoughts and feelings. Definitely looking forward to more.
