Umm, pairings. The answer, I believe is "yes." Buffy will be returning to Sunnydale and Season 3 at the end of this story, since it is an Anne alternative. (no, I don't know who saves Chanterelle/Lily/Anne, sorry) I'm already getting plotbunnies for a sequel, though.
Astral Anne is getting updated monthly, and I've got 2 acts plus an epilogue left to write for a total of 6 parts.

I'm trying to not mess too much with either timeline. Besides the obvious shift in having Season 3 Buffy coincide with Season 8 SG-1. So the dialogue between Danny-boy and Buffy will be more of an insertion in the flow of Threads.
I like this story so far; I'm glad you updated. Angel's "hell" is so sad; he probably has to relive/re-enact everything Angelus did. Since this is in response to the "Anne the Waitress" challenge, that means she still somehow goes back to Sunnydale and Angel still returns right? For the both of them, I hope so. I'll be looking forward to more interaction between Daniel and Buffy. I can't wait for an update.

Yeah, for the most part, I'm trying to make this only AU for the one episode. As for Angel's "hell", it took me weeks to even figure out what I wanted it to be like. I guess it came off evil enough. And there will definately be more Buffy and Daniel in the next Act.

Love the premise behind this story and I love your scriptish writing style. Your idea of the hell dimension in which Angel is trapped is just heart breaking. I like your characterisation of Buffy, she's messed up but still sassy. I look forward to reading more.

The scriptish writing is a bit of an experiment for me. I'm glad you like it. I just thought that a replacement episode should read like one. I'm not strictly adhering to the page quotas for a commercial hour screenplay, but it's close when you take into account the compression inherent in narrative style. (yep, I actually have learned that stuff, having tried being a film major.)
Wow, what a well written story. I'm wondering what your plans are (will Buffy be sent back, etc)....but am also enjoying sitting back and reading what you've written. And like so many of the others, I love your title!

You might want to look at the coding for this. All the special characters, like commas and apostrophies are coming in weird. Or, that might just be my browser. I'm not sure.
Kinda confused at parts, but I'm pretty sure I got the point. So she's ascended now. She's met Faith. She's kinda in a way interacted on Earth. So what's she gonna do to make it a Btvs/Sgc xover?

I hate to disappoint you, but Buffy will not be going to Cheyenne Mountain or the SGC in this story. She will be interacting with exactly one SG-1 member. Three guesses who, first two don't count. She may meet the others if, and I repeat if, I decide to do a sequel.
