Review of chapter "The Use Of Power" from DieselDriver
Review:
I always like it when someone makes the right decision, even fictional characters. I've always liked the name "Rebecca" too, icing on the cake.

Review of chapter "Taking Chances" from (Past Donor)James
Review:
Superb, as always. Well worth the wait. Love the advancement of so many subplots. Now, about Spike. I have not seen any episodes past the Halloween episode, except where Dawn was first introduced. I find the fanfiction better than the episodes, go figure. Anyway, just how closely does your rendition of Spike getting his soul back match the original episode? I have a feeling that you have supplemented it somewhat, which is fine, but I was wondering if it was close enough to actually track down the show and watch it?

Wish you could post more frequently, but I can be happy with once or twice a year.

Review of chapter "To Be Born, At Last" from DieselDriver
Review:
I love it! Rah Rah Rah, Three Cheers for Lindsey! and a hearty WOO HOO!

Interesting thing about the English language. As a kid in school I was taught, "pry" meant to "pry open the box with a pry bar". Also known as a crow bar. I never understood why some people said "prise". and even now the spell checker on this system says "prise" is misspelled. But I grew up in Southern California and What we speak here could more appropriately be named "American" as opposed to "English". Dictionary dot com says I'm wrong though. "Prise" was used correctly in the sentence in this chapter and not "pry" according to their definitions. Apparently my teachers all spoke "American" too. I'm going to have a tough time breaking 60 years of using the word "pry" incorrectly.

This story continues to be marvelous. Looking forward to more and more and more.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family.

Review of chapter "The Centre Holds - Part One" from DieselDriver
Review:
"Jack had once seen a B52 flown by a certifiable madman". Yes. A B-52 can do a roll and it can almost do a loop if very lightly loaded and with minimum fuel. I have seen video in an official Air Force film in which a pilot had taken off in a B-52 by himself in an unauthorized flight and the base commander had him followed by a chase plane with cameras and they filmed the flight as much as they could. He managed a full barrel roll (no negative G's in a barrel roll) and he pulled the wings off at the bottom of the loop. Oh, the purpose of the film you ask? It was an "Air Force Now" film which were mostly to provide incentive to re-enlist. This one was about getting psychological help if you needed it or were feeling down. Not one of the more fun ones. Best one was about the "Streak Eagle" which was the official name of the F-15 program to set "Time to Climb" records. The F-15 was loaded up with just enough fuel for the takeoff and run to altitude at full throttle. The record I remember was zero to 103,000 feet in 2 minutes 12 seconds. That's 19.51 miles straight up in just under 2 and a 1/4 minutes from a dead stop on the runway. I don't know what the highest speed reached was but the F-15 engines will not run above about 80,000 feet so it was coasting the last 23,000 feet straight up. The plane landed dead stick. That works out to 520 miles per hour straight up AVERAGE speed. Unless I did the math wrong.

Review of chapter "Taking Chances" from ajw
Review:
Interesting update. Lilah is shaping up to be the right old Sith though I suspect like all Sith Lords/Ladies she's overestimating her own capabilities and underestimating her enemies somewhat. That's par for course with the 'evil for evil's sake' Sith.

So Anubis plans to attack Earth. I imagine that's not going to go anywhere near as well as Anubis plans or hopes. I suppose it depends on how many SW tech style weapons the SGC has been able to integrate into its ships and how many Headhunters they've been able to build and how many pilots have been trained to fly them. I imagine they'll come as a very nasty shock to the halfway ascended System Lord.

"Fair enough, it had seemed a bit fishy. Well, time to look into the place. Couldn’t be too surprising."

Bwaaahahahahahahaha! Boy oh boy is he ever wrong. Jack is in for the surprise of his life...

This is one of the best stories on here. I'll give you a compliment here. Understand this please that while your editing isn't the best, it's not to bad. There's an occasional misspelling, or missing word in places but the story is GREAT!!! Just about as good as Diane Castle's stories. Trust me, you don't get a compliment like that every day. Read her "brane of extraordinary women" and you'll understand. She also wrote what are probably the best stories in the Whately Universe too. You're right up there with the greats as far as I'm concerned. Better than all but maybe 2 published paid authors I know of and one of those is dead. Heinlein and Niven. Best ever. Her's are as good if not better except that she can't get paid for them just like all the authors here. I think that sucks. If you have anything actually published I'd sure like to know about them.

"That just left certain blocks in the nervous season." I think you meant "system" instead of "season". Is that right? Does the system let you fix editing errors once the chapter is posted?

Review:
This question, Xander to Oz, “Why do many people speed?" should really be “Why do so many people speed?"

Just because it adds emphasis to it. I used to speed all the time. Now I realize I'm wasting time and money if I speed. So I drive the speed limit or sometimes even lower. It's quite relaxing. Plus as a Christian, I take to heart the quote "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto the Lord that which is the Lord's. That means basically you obey the laws unless they conflict with God's laws.

Added benefit, you don't have to worry about seeing or being seen by L.E.O.'s.
