Very well done. The previous reviewer was right, this deserves many more reviews. Don't know how some of the best stories have escaped me ... I've been reading Buffy fanfic for about two years now and thought I had read all the good stories. I was wrong, I obviously missed this one. I'm glad I found it since I've been rereading stories for the last couple of months. Dan is a great OC, good work.
I see you've got another story, which I'm going to read now and hope I don't read it straight through like this one ... better to let good things last a while.
Thanks for posting, this was a very enjoyable read.

Review of chapter "Next in Line" from Malyce
Review:
I have obviously come very late to the party here, but my first observation is that you should have got a lot more reviews.

A masterful integration of Dan Brown's story and Buffy. The OC male lead, Dan Carter, was very well characterised and extremely believable. I think a re-format might have been in order if you are still writing stories, the actual formatting was lost in some places, i.e. Speech marks "" were missing from a few sentences and there was a point at which the dialogue was in one long line right across the page.

I think you got the actual British police procedures very well. The story was fast, but evenly paced and never once did you lose the continuity nor did you fail, apart from the obvious which you mentioned at the very end, to pull together loose ends. This is something that many writers fail at, they introduce random characters which appear in one chapter never to be seen again. It's one of the drawbacks of writing when imagination runs faster than the actual story or your fingers. However it's something that didn't happen with this story. Your ability to pull everything together was faultless in this.

I don't actually have any other constructive criticism to make. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and felt satisfied at the end that you had brought everything to the right conclusion. All the Buffy characters were in character and Brown's characters were very believable. Your original characters, however, are the ones that get the gold star. You made them real for the reader and that is probably the single most important factor in the whole story.

All in all, your story provided me with a day's very pleasant reading.

Review of chapter "Chapter Thirty Four" from HeatherSin
Review:
Excellent story! I was impressed that Dan didn't turn out to be a Larry Stu. I groaned majorly when Dawn announced a "EuroTrip".

And if you had a decent beta to iron out the American-isms it would be close to perfect. I have a problem with British-isms myself.

Well Done!!

I'm off to start on the sequel.

I just read your story and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the way you portrayed all the BTVS characters and brought in new ones. The way you integrated the Da Vinci Code story line was very well done and very believable.

WOW! I'm not a DaVinci Code fan, but I've really enjoyed this story. Most of the time, I only read crossovers where I know the characters somewhat or can at least picture them, but my imagination had to totally depend on your writing to see and understand the characters. Great job! Interestingly, the only hole I'm wondering about is Dan's looks at Dawn near the end of this last chapter, so I'm hoping they will also be addressed in the sequel? I will definitely be on the lookout for it. :)

Review of chapter "Chapter Thirty Three" from MistofRainbows
Review:
You would have thought Buffy would have learned her lesson about jumping into energy vortexes. I do like the idea that the first is just an old one claiming to be more.

Review of chapter "Chapter Thirty One" from PrimitivePixx
Review:
Great story. I've been reading it since you posted chapter 3..

Only have one thing I got itchy about with this chapter, and that was Willow using an athame to cut Sophie. Athame is a ceremonial use. It cuts nothing physical. Ever. Especially bleeding stuff. It pretty much has to be destroyed then. To cut, a boline would be used. Boline and Athame are usually matching but opposite. Athame black handle, Boline white handle.

Other than that I love the story. Keep it up!

Review of chapter "Chapter Twenty Two" from freetodream
Review:
Ok...so i just spent the last couple hours or so reading this story and DANG it's good. I haven't even ATTEMPTED to read the DaVinci Code yet cause i've been uber busy, but I think I got the whole plot down, and your infusion with the BtVS verse, very cool. The characterization is spot on, and you've got a good background on everyone. It's a well thought out and planned story, that flows and leaves you hanging in all the right spots. You almost had me there, with Wills and Chambers. I was actually freaking out just a bit. Yet, you didn't disapoint. Anyway, I can't wait to see how this turns out. Update soon

I had a little trouble following where everyone was (especially who was grouped together and who was off wreaking havoc on their lonesome) but a very nice chapter otherwise.
