Review of chapter "Chapter 24: To Old Friends and New Friends...Maybe" from Artemis
Review:
A very beautiful story! I like it a lot how the Scoobies and the SGC came across another by accident and, whilst willing to work together, are still distrustful of another. I hope you'll write a sequel, I would love to learn just how their collaboration is going to work.

I also admire how you have managed to write so many different POVs and still kept all of them so perfectly in character.

Well, I wasn't expecting this to end yet, but I respect your reasoning. However, if my vote means anything, I HAVE found that your perspective adds something new to these crossovers, even if you may feel lost in the shuffle. I've been very grateful for your ability to overturn some apparently 'rock-solid' assumptions in canon and fanon and find out what's been crawling around underneath them.

Hope to read more of your SG1/BtVS crossover fic some day, but glad to read your other stories in the meanwhile.

Review:
Please, write a sequel. This story has alot to offer that alot of those other crossovers don't. 1. It isn't just dealing with SG-1 and the scoobies, but world-wide orgizations that are more or less balanced. 2. Neither Stargate or the Buffyverse here are 'Monty Hauls', overpowered in comparison to the other and solving all the problems. 3. You do the charcters very well!

I think you've ended it a little to abrupt. What I like about this your original view on how you view Asgard cloning and I also hate you for it because it might interfere with one of my own SG x-over stories.

Well, that is sad that you can't continue it for the moment. while I agree about there being lots of really good crossovers already, it doesn't make yours les good. So I REALLY hope you write more chapters in the future. As far as inspiration is concerned, I actually understand it a lot. I hope you find it again.

Review of chapter "Chapter 23: Hope Between a Rock and a Hard Place" from RevDorothyL
Review:
Thanks for giving us a glimpse into Gen. Hammond's thought processes. It's easy to overlook the very real conflicts he has to deal with everyday (even when Jack O'Neill's NOT involved) between 30 years of military training and experience and the flexibility and "coloring outside the lines" required in order to effectively deal with what comes through the Stargate.

Err, why not "two generals"? I rather doubt that given their history with
the miltary the Scoobies would *EVER* agree to become part of Hammond's or
any other command of the military.

They would reserve the right to take a walk whenever they choose to
and to pound into a bloody plup anyone or anything stupid enough to
their way.

I just can't imagine them agreeing to anything that would place them
under the command of Hammond or anyone else other than Giles, and if
Giles or any other of the Scoobies was either harmed or threatend by the NID the US miltary command structure had best be considering the
property prices in hell.

::chuckles softly:: I love Giles the general, it is so true but I don't think I've ever thought about it that way.

Review of chapter "Chapter 23: Hope Between a Rock and a Hard Place" from BrendanM
Review:
I've been following this fic since you started it, and I rather like it.

So far, (at least, up to chapter 23) your characterizations have been either very close, or spot on. That's not easy to do, and I am impressed. However, General Hammond is a little... off. Remember that the General is fairly old (sixties or seventies) and doesn't speak quite in that way. The general idea behind what he was saying was spot on, but the execution was a bit "young".

Aside from that, It was a good chapter. I'm still interested to see where this goes.

Review of chapter "Chapter 23: Hope Between a Rock and a Hard Place" from windsorw
Review:
Hammond has definitely had a rough day, hasn't he? Talk about getting swamped with new (and confusing) information. But despite his qualms, I think he is flexible enough to adapt and make the best of the situation. Figuring our just how to report everything to the President may make him rethink retiring, though. 8-) Nice work on this chapter.
