Excellent! That was way too short for such a long hiatus between chapters!
Comments from author:
I'm delighted that you're enjoying : ) Two things have been conspiring against more frequent fanfic updates.

1. My job - what was supposed to be a four 12 hour shifts on followed by four off and flipping from days to nights after every two groups of on (DDDDOOOODDDDOOOONNNNOOOONNNNOOOO) has decided to have mandatory fifth days - we can pick which of our days off we will be coming in to work, but we have to come in for another shift. This takes up a lot of time, and too much of the rest is taken by little things like sleep, food and laundry.

2. I am also working on some original stories. I've got four up now on Amazon Kindle, and another four just waiting for covers before they can go live. There are others (including one that is novel-length) in various stages from 'just needs one more revision' (including the novel) to 'not finished with the first draft'. Some of them have been given a higher priority than the fanfics.

Review of chapter "Learning Curve" from leelaa
Review:
Waiting patiently for whensoever real life and your muses cooperate. Anything at all to take the story forward would be lovely. But any chance of an update in this coming month, please? Or maybe the month after that? Anyway, thanks for a great read. :)

Review:
I always felt poor Doyle was badly treated in the Joss-verse. I like the way you are shaping this world and was particularly fond of his 'dishonourable' approach to Deatheaters :)

Really looking forward to more!

I completely forgot about this story and apparently I forgot to track it too! That can be easily fixed though!

Review of chapter "Learning Curve" from Hecatonchires
Review:
Really enjoying this. Doyle is charming without being sleazy. Where is Dumbledore? Could Ron's stubborness bring him to Doyle's attention? (We've seen hary and hermione) What will the family reunion be like?

Excellent story! Seeing how Doyle deals with Hogwarts is great fun, and I'm looking forward to him contacting people - although I hope they don't take over the story. Keep up the great work!

Review of chapter "Learning Curve" from fanrei
Review:
i love Mimsy, but i do generally love focus of the house elves.
i am a little weirded out by Doyle way of thinking about adventurers and heroes. i feel he is just a catalyst (a really great one and very much needed).
without him many things and thoughts would not have happened, but i don't consider him any more heroic than in his past world. maybe because he was already heroic without seeing it?
there was harry potter the heroes with Ron, Hermione, the DA, Albus , Severus already in these role (sort of). with the new time line there's Minerva and her extended family, the goblins too maybe.

I'm so enjoying this story! I hope you will continue to update, and soon as I'd like to see Doyle meet his family and this world's Angel and watch his interactions with the Students and faculty. You're weaving a very engaging beginning..

i was a little concerned when Doyle gave the bodies to the goblins. shouldn't he have been concerned too? there was human wizards in the lot...
