Is that a Stargate reference in there? 'Cause Jon Carter so makes me think Mini!Jack.
Comments from author:
Thanks for commenting.

A lot of people certainly think Jon is Mini-Jack. ;-)

more will be revealed about Jon in the next chapter.

Review:
Once again, another great chapter to a great story. The Prophesy seems self explanatory to me, however. The VERY short version, to me, that regardless of who wins between Harry and Voldie, the Wizarding world as it is currently known is screwed. I mean, it is guaranteed that the Scoobies will come looking for Harry, and will be willing to do whatever it takes to find him. However, I still believe that Sirius and Remus will be on Harry's side, and hopefully, will start questioning Dumbs a little more. Then again, Old Dumbs practically has the wizarding world ( the "light" wizards anyway) worshiping the ground he graces with his feet. I wouldn't put it past Dumbs to try to perform a memory charm on Harry to make him forget about his real family ( AKA the Scoobies).

You mentioned in an earlier chapter, when Willow was discussing with Xander and Buffy about Harry's magical education, that putting a block on his powers would cause problems for harry controlling his powers. Was that Dumbs' plan to begin with? It seems that if that were the case, then James and Lily had a basic idea of what Dumbs was really like, which is why they used that spell to send Harry to someone what would protect him.

I have a theory on Jon Carter. The SGC have come across several reports of non-human creatures involved with the school. it all came to a head when the terrorists stole the "school supplies" (My school never had THOSE kinds of supplies), and the SGC wanted to know why a school needed that kind of supplies, so they asked Jon to investigate. However, I prefer to believe that his feelings for Dawn are real.
Comments from author:
Yep, the Wizarding World is not gonna be happy, regardless of how things turn out, for a number of reasons. ;-)

Bumble-Dork had his own plans for the Potters, but the results at Godric's Hollow weren't anywhere near what he intended.

The government already knows about the NSWC, but the SGC doesn't. Yet.

Jon met Dawn in a completely innocent manner, and doesn't yet know just how.. *unusual*... her family is. ;-)

Thanks for reviewing and commenting.

Review of chapter "10 – Revelations (No, Not That Book In The Bible)" from Vld
Review:
I KNEW IT!!! At first, I had some little doubts, and thought maybe he was John Carter from ER, and that you forgot the H in his name since there are so many ER characters in that story, but I was almost certain, and mostly hoped it was Mini-Jack!!! That rocks!!! Not that I don't like Dr. Carter, but I like lil'Jack a lot more. Shame he only makes one appearance in the show. What about Cassie? I mean Frasier obviously. Since she can't go through the gate, it'd seem obvious to me that she would latch on the closest thing, and what could be closer to fighting evil aliens than fighting evil demons?
Comments from author:
More on Jon and his background in the next chapter.

I gotta admit I was sitting here thinking 'who the hell is Jon Carter' and finally I got it. Great surprise--I love it! Another wonderful chapter and a great prophesy along with it!
Comments from author:
Thank you. What was fun is that there were several possibilities for who he could actually be.

Review of chapter "10 – Revelations (No, Not That Book In The Bible)" from Catz
Review:
Beware the scions of the dog who speaks when they come searching for their stolen heir,
For their wrath shall shake the world… (Scooby gang)

The feral father, pack-leader and master of the iron menagerie, shall lead the way. He shall see truly those who intend his son harm and he shall deal with them in his own manner… (Xander)

The twice-dead mother, demon bane and first sister among the destroyers of darkness, shall come seeking the blood-child of her third life, and her rage shall be terrifying to behold. Woe be to any who would stand in her way… (Buffy)

The mistress of gates (Dawn) and her betrothed, the warlord of the ancients (Jon), the wolf-king and his mates, Gaia’s daughter (Willow) and Diana’s favored (Faith), the bloodstained sage, god-killer and heart-father to them all (Giles), and his spouse, the healer and protector of the innocent (Lena), shall aid them in their quest. And the world shall tremble at their step…

Death and destruction shall follow at their heels, and the Boy Who Vanished shall discover and accept his heritage …

The Dark Lord shall seek him out, that the final judgment shall be made, and only one shall walk away…

And the world shall be remade in his image…

So someone is going to take Harry back to the wizarding world, the scoobies are going to come looking and hurt several people in their quest, Harry's going to find out about his birthparents and learn wizarding magic.

Great story so far and an amazing chapter

Review:
Delightful. Am I correct in guessing that Jon Carter is Jack O'Neill's clone all grown up? I'm really enjoying this story more and more as it goes. This chapter had me giggling out loud several times. Can't wait to read the next part. And yes I did love the shovel bit. :)
Comments from author:
Well, if Jon is not Jack's clone, a lot of people here are going to be really disappointed. ;-)

Hope you liked the shovel bit. ;-)

Oh my, Minerva actually got to witness the fraud make an actual prophecy. Bet that went down with a very bitter after-taste. Loved the introduction of O'Neill's clone from Stargate. This story is a hoot and I look forward to the next installment!!
