I've read a lot of "Willow screws up" fanfiction - not to mention the fact that she rather screwed up in the real series - and this interpretation is definitely one of the better. It's a lot more realistic than the "Willow is an immature power-hungry bitch" versions (they're pure bashing really).
I do have a soft spot for Willow, and I hope she gets herself sorted in the end in this story.

Looking forward to Supermans reaction when he and Xander meet for the first time, should prove to be very entertaining. Keep up the great work, and please don't keep us in suspense to long.
Book 1 has been an amazing read. I thank you very much for starting to write again. You have a real talent for this. One suggestion that I think would be really cool. If you possibly had some way for Kryptonite to not weaken Xander that would be awesome, maybe a magical shield of some sort. In my fic that I started about a year ago (It's a smallville/Harry Potter/stargate cross) there was a shield that altered the wavelength of all light/radiation that hit the wearer to that of a yellow sun. So kryptonite radiation as well as red sun light would actually add to a Kryptonian's power reserve instead of depleting it. The kryptonians were advanced enough that at the very least that Clark should have been able to weave a polymer into his suit that blocked most kryptonite radiation, something a lot better than lead.
